The entire customer experience was lack luster and made me very unfortunate. It first started when the “supposed” manager, Drew (has tied back hair), asks if it’s okay for him to seat specifically me at the bar when there was ample seating available both indoor and outdoor. He started the experience unpleasant and unwelcoming by not following standards and asking my preference of seating and informing me regards to possible wait times.

Second, Drew told me I could sit wherever I wanted, yet didn’t escort me like he escorted the previous 3 parties to their seat. In addition the table was still dirty for at least 5 min prompting me to get any staff’s attention to communicate the issue at hand.

Third, I ordered a 16oz mimosa for $8 which is clearly highlighted both online and their answer machine detailing the information when you call. When you call, it specially highlights and invites guests to partake in their 16oz $8mimosas, and when I ordered they tried charging me $15. It was my first time at the location, so I wanted to understand what was happening. I asked Will to bring a manager. Instead of doing so, Will immediately became defensive, interrogated me, and put 110% of his effort to prevent me from communicating with a manager. I then informed Will, based off his lack of professionalism and interrogation, I don’t feel comfortable speaking about my concerns to someone not in management. After minutes of his childish back and forth antics, Will went to speak with someone. 10 minutes pass, and I notice Will speaking to Drew at the host stand, and they both glare at me. Moments pass, Will returns, says there’s nothing they can do. I requested to speak yo Drew directly. Drew came and stated that the prices increased and the information on the phone machine is outdated prices prior to pandemic. This information directory has been set for years, they are not a large establishment, yet they continue to falsely promote these inaccurate prices. As someone who went for the first time, they did nothing to amend this supposed error. This was not an error, at its best was pure laziness, but this was purposeful and unethical advertising. It clearly states prices are $8 for 16oz yet they refused to honor the price. Not to mention all the staff were white and I’m a brown Latino male. The entire experience felt uncomfortable from start to finish. Please avoid this racist place and the racist staff upholding the establishment like Drew & Will!
