The lady here had a couple people ahead of me in line so I decided to go ahead and use my app because I wanted the points anyway while I was there ordering I sat down and ordered ask them to heat not toast my sandwich in the microwave they said when the order comes in they would I was skeptical now mind you I have half sleeves and braids and I'm white my fiance also White has face tattoos long hair and we both had on backpacks I'm not sure if everyone is aware but there's a huge stigma in Los Angeles about backpacks and homeless but that's another conversation have three or former people come in after a place Morgan and they make their orders they don't want to buy sandwiches then but not the other I get it mine's a mobile order theirs are in person they should get attended to first in my opinion but she got frustrated and then yelled at me saying if you're not going to order them I have to ask you to leave if you need help with app or something or if I can just take your order here that would be fine yelled at the restaurant with a lot of people witnessing this embarrassing but I quickly quipped back with I finished making my order 15 minutes ago sorry for the confusion but please don't yell at me in that manner please I find it very offensive my fiance immediately asked me to not make the same so I didn't when I got my sandwich it was cold it had not been heated or toasted there was no cheese it was just disgusting like I hadn't ate the whole day and starving to death but even with all those factors could not finish the sandwich I was so disappointed I love Subway I'll eat there again it's a great place to eat just the service was a bit lacking and I understand that people have bad days but don't stereotype me and then give me horrible food especially at the price they're charging two sandwiches $24 and that's not making them a meal...
Read moreI walked into this particular Subway earlier this morning with a smile on my face and walked out ranting to my boyfriend. This was my first visit here. I noticed the scoop of steak being placed on a wax sheet and then weighed on a scale. The man added several pinches more and then seemed satisfied. He put about 90% of that meat on my sandwich and proceeded to dump all the rest back into the storage tray. I couldn't help but stare at the bare, meat-deprived corner of my sandwhich.
I asked him, "how do you portion out the steak here?" He appeared surprised and responded, "It's 5oz of steak." "Alright," I replied. I continued, "I noticed you weighed out what appeared to be 5oz of steak but you didn't put all of it on my sandwich. You dumped some of my steak back in your pan." With an oversized grin, the man behind the counter said, "Yes, sir, it's for your nutrition."
