I got FOOD POISONING after eating here. I ordered the beef kimbap around 1 PM on 12/20, and it was my first and only meal of the day.
By 6 PM, I began feeling extremely nauseous and started throwing up repeatedly—every 15-30 minutes—until 3 AM. I vomited over 15 times, and by 2 AM, I was throwing up only water and stomach acid. My body was completely shaking, and I could barely stand. Finally, at 3:30 AM, I went to the ER for treatment. The doctors confirmed it was a virus caused by contaminated food or poor handling practices. Since this was the only food I ate all day, it was clear this meal was the cause. I have all the ER reports to back this up.
When I called the shop to report the issue, they were dismissive and nearly hung up on me. Their response? “OKAY BYEEE” before offering to investigate or provide any kind of solution. Only after I mentioned reporting them did they give me an email for their insurance. Their lack of care and accountability was shocking.
This experience made me seriously question their food handling practices. Do they have a process for food poisoning complaints because this happens often? It certainly felt that way.

Read moreI recommended this restaurant to a family visiting from Korea, and I was incredibly disappointed and embarrassed by their experience. The kimbap they ordered was spoiled and completely inedible—they had to throw it all away. When I called the restaurant the next day to inform them, I was shocked by their reaction. Instead of apologizing, the staff became defensive, raised their voice, and insisted that their food couldn’t possibly have gone bad. They blamed us for not calling on the same day and even questioned whether we were lying.
As a Korean, I find it especially disappointing that this kind of service came from a Korean-owned business in Koreatown. I sincerely hope other customers don’t have to go through the same experience—with both spoiled food and such unprofessional,...
Read moreGreat service, nice interior design and the kimbap seems very fresh. I've been here a few times, one time towards the end of the night and when I ordered kimbap that wasn't already made, the lady made it fresh for me. I had the spicy pork bowl, 1 avacado kimbap and 1 mushroom kimbap. The kimbap doesn't give you a lot of rice. It was nice to get a lot of veggies and the filling you ordered. I usually get tuna kimbap and that's really good here too. I think this one is neck in neck with the kimbap store inside of California Marketplace. This is a definitely a good place to come and do some takeout! I will be back to try the...
