BELIZE 🇧🇿 Eat the World Los Angeles review: There is a certain amount of envy that must be cast towards the folks that have figured out the daily rhythms of Tracey's Belizean Restaurant on Western Avenue. For the rest of us to wander in, it is more of a crapshoot. Certain things are available on certain days, sometimes Sundays, sometimes Wednesday through Friday. Is there any way to verify all of this? If you did would it take away the charm?
What is clear is that no matter what day of the week you find yourself inside, a delightful meal and a full belly are certainly in your future. Oxtails need major improvement, from the flavor to the quality, I was basically given a plate of bones with very little to no meat. All the tiny oxtails maybe added up in total to ONE nice sized oxtail. Food is over priced. I almost spent $60 on two overpriced plates, so I got one instead. Just “what would you like to order” and bragging about being in business for 46 years, so don’t come here expecting a nice vibe with your food, you might loose your appetite like I did, that’s why I only bought 1 plate too. The place isn’t...
