
How I wish I could give this location zero stars! I placed an order for 2 fried shrimp baskets and then waited at the counter because I wanted to get the order quickly since I had a flight to catch. The girl behind the counter said for me to wait on the bench at the entrance area and she said she'd call me when my order was ready. After 30 minutes I went to the counter and a bag was sitting there with the counter unattended!!! It was my order!!! The lazy girl is on her cell phone sitting in the dining area!!!!!!!! I said to her "how long has my order been here?" She said " oh I tried to call you but you didn't hear me" She said it's been there for 15 minutes. She never called may name and she NEVER walked near that area to get me. I was furious and for two weeks I have called every Fiery crab in the Baton Rouge,Lafayette and Denham Springs to complain about what happened.They all will have someone pick up the phone and tell you their policy is not to give the name of their manager to the customers. I said well can I get a nickname or anything? They will tell you no and never put the manager on the phone EVER!!!!!!. You can call the Corporate Office on Sherwood and that number is unplugged and has a busy signal for 2 weeks!. Any of you customers if you have a problem with your order or service Fiery Crab trains their staff to keep the managers hidden and out of sight. Trust me, call any Fiery Crab location and they are trained to tell the customer that the manager is on their phone. Which means they are on their personal phone. I have wasted 2 weeks of my life trying to reach out to anyone. The only professional location is in Denham Springs. They treat everyone right. As for Seigen Lane that don't give a damn about anything and could care less if you're in a hurry. They would rather watch Tik Tok videos in the dining area while you wait like and idiot as your order gets cold. The Seigen location Sucks and all of their restaurants except Denham will ignore you . The Corporate Office is no different. You cannot and will not EVER get anyone to answer. They will take your money but if you have a complaint they are trained to treat you as you don't exist! Read morei’ve been coming to fiery crab for years, especially the Siegen location, it’s my favorite. so mind you when I finally visit to come treat my family who came in town to some seafood. I got the worst experience ever last night .Mind you it’s no familiar faces in there , all of the staff looks fairly new . At first we were greeted with smiles which i thought was friendly. But when we sat down me and my family got another experience. The waiter was super nasty and rude because she got my order wrong after i stated it twice what i wanted . I’m a waitress myself so i know how to be clear. And now i’m started to think she was racist. I put my kids food in first TWO kid catfish meals and two lemonades bc we were originally undecided on what to get for the boil. The order was repeated back which made me believe she understood what I wanted, two kid catfish meals and two lemonades. but she brings to the table what she wanted, one cup for two kids to drink even though I SPECIFICALLY STATED I WANTED TWO LEMONADES FOR THE KIDS no matter the size. So she rushed off when i said I asked for two lemonades rolling her eyes . comes back and throw the damn lemonade on the table ! talking about there you go. it’s right there . so i asked for another waiter cause first off you got it wrong not listening and i wasn’t being rude . Get to the next waitress and she just as rude bc she wanted to take up for her waitress friend. YALL MY BABY IS 3 and he didn’t get to eat bc this girl wanted to be mean and spiteful! the first waitress attitude about everything and her aura made the experience 10x worse, she needs to be fired . They didn’t even try to compensate for her rude behavior or the fact that they didn’t make my baby food when the kitchen was open !! I thought the customer was always right ? I ordered crawfish and a pound of mussels, and when I picked up my order, everything was placed into a single bag. While that wasn’t initially an issue, I became concerned when I got to my destination and sat down to eat. I quickly noticed that the food lacked seasoning, and any flavoring that was present had settled entirely at the bottom of the bag.
I attempted to shake the bag myself to distribute the seasoning, but it became clear that there simply wasn’t enough seasoning for the amount of food I ordered. As a result, both the crawfish and mussels were extremely bland. I don’t eat plain seafood, so this was incredibly disappointing especially considering the price of my meal.
When I tried to reach out by phone to speak with a manager about this issue, the service I received was equally frustrating. I was told that the manager was on the phone, then that the call was being handled by a third-party service, and finally that someone would call me back. Despite these assurances, I never received a callback. When I called again and realized I was still dealing with this third-party service, I ended the call only to be called back shortly after, yet still without access to a manager.
This entire experience has been incredibly disappointing, especially since I’ve never had issues with Fiery Crab before. I’m unsure if this is related to the current specials being offered, but it’s clear that both the quality of the food and the service have suffered.
