7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Louisville

As of today, the 7 Brew on Outer Loop will no longer be getting service from me.. I pulled up this morning, and as usual, ordered my same drink I always get. When the girl that took my order went back in, another girl came out with my drink and said

“I just want to let you know you made our employee very uncomfortable by making inappropriate comments to her.” I said “excuse me?”, she said “You told her she’s pretty and bit your lip, don’t do that again.” I said “I never said or did that. I don’t understand.” She continued to hand me my drink and said “well you did, have a great day.”

I’m sorry… how the hell am I supposed to have a great day after being accused for something I NEVER did?? I am a MARRIED woman to a MAN! I’m not gay! I would never make a comment and bite my lip at somebody… The girl that took my order was literally standing in the back watching this whole thing.

So I went to have lunch with Ezra, and when I was done, I went back up to 7 brew and asked for a manager. The girl that brought my drink said to the employee “you can just tell her the manager isn’t here.” Umm. NO! You probably are the manager and didn’t want to be confronted!! So she walks around the opposite side of the building to the girl that I apparently called pretty and told her I was there. The girl walks up to me, and asked me what I want and I told her I never once said she was pretty or bit my lip at her. She told me she was sorry and didn’t mean it. She asked me what I want from her and I told her she owes me an apology for accusing me of something like that. I told them I’m not doing business with them and they give me a free drink on my account… sorry but a free drink doesn’t excuse the fact that you said what you said and then you want to gaslight me about it and make it seem like I’m crazy!! She said “oh she just got here and doesn’t know what she’s talking about, I didn’t say that. I’m sorry.” If you didn’t say that, then why were you hiding in the back when she confronted me?? GUILTY!! Do better!! Even if I did her pretty (which I didn’t) LEARN TO TAKE A...

I love 7 Brew because of the sugar-free and general diverse menu options. All their drinks taste better than Dunkin and Starbucks. I have been going to them since they opened in Hurtsbourne, then Fern Creek, and now the location closest to me: Okolona. I’ve had generally good experiences. Only small complaints I have are filling drinks to the top: I’ve had two not filled all the way. Also, wiping all drinks with a rag. They do it 80 percent of the time but sometime I have to remind them. I missed bogo hour the other day because the line was backed up and waited 45 minutes and didn’t make the cut for bogo hour. I missed it by four minutes. Lastly, one day I didn’t get my points for my purchase even tho I gave my number. There should be an option to request your points get added. Once they solve these small kinks, they will easily be a five...

I was unsure about traffic direction, due to the lines unequally being distributed. It was my first time there so I wasn’t sure what to make of that, but the lady who ended up coming to my car with her iPad was knowledgeable about smoothie options, though I decided to get a hot vanilla latte instead. The smoothies, I found out, use purées rather than fresh fruit which sometimes I like, but since it was a new experience I went with something I felt more familiar with. It was a good latte.

I never would have been if my local coffee shoppe hadn’t been closed (my plan A), and the mini marathon was also blocking me from the central avenue Starbucks (my plan B), but I am glad to have gone and now I have somewhere else I feel comfortable getting coffee from when something comes up. I will definitely go again when I’m out towards that area. It...
