Saw this place on Social Media and we coming to Louisville on a visit saw had to try. Make sure you map it as it is nondescript from the outside, only a neon that says empanadas in the window. Inside is very clean and well done. There are about four seats at a window counter and about three two tables outside. The tables outside appear to be in shade most of the time they are open. Make sure to pay attention to hours of operation. Now to the empanadas: They have a great range of them. They are baked not fried which is my favorite. Baked does not leave them too greasy. Today we went with three, beef, chicken and Italian. All three were packed, no air space inside. I have had some that do from other places around the country. The beef was good. It seemed just slightly lacking enough spices that I am used too, same with the chicken. The Italian was different as it is not traditional. It was very much like a calzone. We got three on Tuesday as they have a special of three for $10. They are usually $4 each. If I lived here, I would probably be here a lot. It is a must try. You will find...
Read moreI arrived at your location at 2:39 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025, only to be told by an employee that the store was already closed and the oven had been turned off. This was surprising and frustrating, especially since your website clearly states that the store is open until 5:00 PM.
I drove through heavy traffic to get there, expecting the store to be open during the posted hours. This is now the second time I’ve encountered this issue at this location, where the store closed early without any prior notice or update online.
I’m very disappointed by the lack of consistency and communication. I hope management will take this feedback seriously and ensure that store hours are honored—or at the very least, clearly communicated in advance if there are any changes.
Thank you for your attention to...
Read moreWe visited for the first time today after learning about it's location. It was very easy to park and access the store. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we ordered a variety of empanadas to try. The biggest problem we had was that they disappeared so quickly once we left the store! But all kidding aside, the flavors were amazing. We loved each one that we tried. The breading is so soft yet has a light airy crunch. The ingredients were perfectly heated and the sauces paired great with each flavor we tried. Definitely some of our favorites were the Italian, Jamaican, Prosciutto, Ham and Cheese, and Gyro. We'll definitely be returning here for more to try the other flavors also. Highly recommended and makes a great breakfast, lunch, or...
