I'm not expert on Mediterranean food but the times I have been here for a Gyro and some fries I was never disappointed. Their fries are especially good, very well seasoned. While I only ever get a lamb Gyro I am never the only one in here and everyone seems satisfied with the food and there are always a few people stopping by, grabbing to-go orders. The one thing I'll say is that for to-go orders, they tend to wrap the basket of fries in foil, which makes them soggy. If you can open it before you drive home you'll save their crispy, delicious fries from sogging up. I would say if they could just leave the fries uncovered they would be much better because they are really great when hot and fresh as a dine in or when you eat a few before the drive home.

This is now my new favorite spot. 1st let me start with how nice the lady at the register was. OMG!!! Byfar THE BEST customer service I've had in a very long time. So nice, friendly and very patient. I had zero clue what to order and she explained everything. I absolutely adored her. The food was outstanding. Made fresh to order. My food was hot and steamy. We ate at the restaurant but I assume that this is more of a "carry-out" restaurant because there is very minimal seating. But the food was delicious and I tasted alot of different items and I didn't have a single complaint about anything. I will definitely be back.

Falafel Oasis is an amazing Mediterranean restaurant in downtown Louisville. A fifteen minute walk from the convention center and Yum center well worth your attendance! The Baklava was the most delicious I’ve ever had in my life. We had the chicken schwarma, falafel sandwich, fries, hummus and pita, lamb gyro, grape leaves, and nothing disappointed! All fresh food and wonderful service. They have fountain drinks and also sweet tea, Turkish coffee or tea as well. Such a great experience and an easy five stars for authentic and fresh flavor!

Coming from Detroit, I’ve spent my whole life around Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food both in restaurants and at my friend’s homes. The spicy hummus was flavorful instead of just packed with spices; well balanced with oil. Tikka Lamb was medium-well vs medium-rare like I get back home... but it was legit the most flavorful lamb I’ve had in years. PERFECT. If they could replicate that lamb every time? I’d choose it over my Detroit spots every time - and that says a lot. Baklava was 2nd best of my life too. I have no need to try any other Arabic food in Louisville while I’m here. The gentleman who rang me up was also very attentive and cleaned a table the moment a man got up from drinking some drink. Guy ate fries, had a drink, made no mess - but the restauranteur promptly cleaned the table AND chair. We need more places like...

The restaurant needs proper graded equipment to handle an abundance of people in a timely manner as well as proper ventilation for smoke to exhausted. The place is very clean and sharp itself. I ordered the Shoah Tawook sandwich, the chicken is cooked well, I also like the lime in the sauce that is present. The wrap itself is hard and the vegetables were okay. I didn’t understand the garlic sauce on the side. There are other falafel restaurants in the area, I appreciate the competition, but it’s not enough to derive the crowd from the existing businesses. Worth trying and that’s it.

Edit: I am updating my review, upon further inspection I see a lot of 1 review profiles all giving 5 stars, I don’t appreciate fake reviews as it’s dishonest to the customers just looking for advice on the restaurant so I am changing my rating...

The chicken Shawarma sandwich did not have chicken Shawarma, it was sliced chicken. The wrap was not pita, it was a tortilla. The pickles in the food came from a jar. The wrap was loose and haphazardly made and kept falling apart. Completely unenthusiastic preparation. No care was given to any of the food. For Mediterranean cuisine, the chicken was uninspired and bland. Additionally, hummus was ordered. It did not come with any Thing to dip it in. No pita, no chips, not even a tortilla which would be offensive to the taste, but at least they would have tried. However, this place did not care to even try. Such a shame at the harrowing decline in quality of this place. They used to be one of my favorite places. Now, I want to literally block them from my memory and erase any evidence that this restaurant...
