Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Louisville

Only giving 1 star because I have to, it should be 0. I received 3 $10 lunch certificates for Jet’s Pizza in a welcome package from my apartment complex. I have never eaten Jet’s before, and honestly have never heard good things from people who have, but since I had these certificates I thought I would give it a shot. There are no instructions on these certificates, nothing saying what I can and cannot use them on. The only rule is I must use them between 10 and 3pm, and that’s fine. First, I called to see if I could combine them since it doesn’t say anywhere that I can’t. I spent 5 minutes on hold to be told no. That isn’t a big deal to me, I expected that but it was worth a shot. So we decide to order online. We go online and place an order for a Medium 2 topping for 6.99 and a 2 liter. My total comes out to 10.47. We drive all the way there only to be told they won’t accept my certificate because the 6.99 pizza I ordered is a “special” and I can’t use this certificate on a special. I must have missed where it said I couldn’t. They were incredibly rude about it, the pizza was already made but they wouldn’t let us have it unless we paid $7 (apparently that would be full price). I didn’t want to pay $7 since we literally only went to Jet’s to try it out because of the certificates. Out of being extremely annoyed and inconvenienced, I said fine, let me just get a couple 2 liters then, since I can’t use it on specials, even though it doesn’t say that. The person behind the counter said “They can’t be used on individual items” I asked him where it says any of this on the certificate, and he said it doesn’t but it’s up to his discretion. What? So, Jet’s gives out lunch certificates but doesn’t let you use them unless they feel like it, and only if you pay full price so they receive some money. Maybe next time they print these out, they will list some disclaimers. I’ve always considered myself a pizza connoisseur. I usually don’t crave pizza itself, but rather different types of pizza. That is—until today. My wife and I both found ourselves with a craving for pizza, though we weren’t sure where to order from. After a quick search, Jet’s popped up on the list. I’ll be honest—I had always overlooked Jet’s in the past and stuck with places I was more familiar with. Funny enough, because I usually love trying new things.

All I can say now is that I wish I had tried Jet’s sooner. Absolutely phenomenal pie! The thin crust (turbo) was baked perfectly—crispy, flavorful, and just the right thickness. The toppings were cut just right, fresh, and full of flavor. Every bite had balance and quality.

I order pizza through text like I have done multiple times for delivery. Waited an hour before I called. A gentleman answered the phone and I asked if they have received the order. He said yes and that they were just running slow and hung up. I waited another 30mins and spoke with the "owner" I explained that it has been an hour and a half. He said that it was for pickup and asked for the confirmation. So I read the text and gave the confirmation. I then said forget and asked for a refund. I did swear a couple of times due to the most awful service I have had at a pizza delivery service and he told me that I didn't have to swear and that they could still deliver this cold 1hr and a half old pizza. I told him that I just want my money and that I am done with them....
