Jin Doshirak — Restaurant in Louisville

This place will officially open on March 4, 2024, but I was happy to have the opportunity to eat the food here in advance. I am leaving this review to share what the food tasted like. -The chef worked at the “Charim” Korean restaurant in Louisville. So all the food dishes are really delicious, which comes from her experience. The two foods I would most recommend are Beef Bulgogi Box and Spicy Pork Box. In particular, Spicy Pork has a unique sweet and spicy taste. Japchae is a noodle product, so I recommend eating it as soon as possible. -Japanese Food (Sushi Menu): A male chef was previously the main chef at a Japanese restaurant in Osaka Downtown. From his experience, sushi rolls are fresh and delicious. -I also gave chicken wings to my kids using a to-go box, and they said they tasted like they used to in Korea. Amazing gem in Louisville for AUTHENTIC and FRESH Korean food and great value. We wanted something that tasted home cooked and Jin Doshirak came through!

We ordered the

1. bulgogi (awesome because they didn’t make it too sweet like many other places)
2. pork belly (great because it wasn’t too greasy, or salty)
3. fish katsu (AMAZINGLY fresh fish they deep fry, tasted like they just caught it straight from the ocean! The fish was juicy and flaky)
4. chicken wings, Honey Garlic (I think was the flavor) was perfectly cooked and chicken was juicy.

The side dishes that came with it ALL were freshly prepared and just the right portion.

This was simply the BEST MEAL we had in Louisville and the kids...

This was mine and my wife’s first visit and let me just say it’s in our top three Korean food restaurants we’ve eaten at. We got a Ton Katsu meal, their gyoza, and two Tteokbokki bowls. This is the best tteokbokki we’ve ever eaten. Their ton katsu and gyoza are also the best I’ve eaten here in America and very comparable to when I went to Japan! The ton katsu is not oily and is not dry. Everything down to presentation is an A+. Seating on the inside was very spacious and breathable.
