Been there a few times. Had this female manager training the new employees on one particular day. She personally packed my order (according to her) and forgot 10 nuggets. Had her employee who handed me the food have me check the bag. I completely unpacked the bag to prove I did not have the missing 10/20 nuggets. She then personally came to the window, called me a liar and said she packed the bag herself. I offered her to unpack the bag again. She refused. I then offered her to search my car. She refused. She expected me to leave without getting something I paid for. I then said, "Are you really pressed for 10 nuggets that I have sufficiently proved you forgot to pack." She said no. I then said, "I don't need to eat here if I'm going to get robbed. Can I go ahead and get a refund because I'll happily give you back the food." She said okay. Took a while, I had to get someone's attention because I had to get my mail out of the bag I just handed to her (I threw my mail in assuming none of this would happen and I'd be carrying food). After getting the refund (she couldn't count money correctly btw, I paid 34, refund receipt said 37 and some change, she gave me 38 and some change. Bad signs). I tried to thank the employees who were kind, she made them lock the window. Tried to tell them I forgot to give them back the drinks. She threatened to call the police because I was trying to offer them their drinks back and thank the kind man and woman who had helped me and showed respect the entire time while their manager who is supposed to be training them couldn't swallow her own ego to admit her mistake. 10/10 would recommend the Franchisee owner to find her, (I think her name was Ashley ? Something with an A I believe) fire her, and retrain their employees immediately. I've worked fast food before. Even with obvious thieves, we just hand them the food. I proved I wasn't a thief and offered them to search my vehicle (in case not previously mentioned, this all happened in the drive-thru). I understand it's McDonald's so many will say I shouldn't be surprised, but I'm still amazed a person like this made it to manager and is being trusted to train a whole new building of employees. Honestly there was even more wrong-doing on her end, but I think the paints the picture of what she was like perfectly. I couldn't believe this happened. Been to some locations in some terrible neighborhoods and never quite had an experience like this.
TLDR: Manager pack the bag and forgot to pack 10 more nuggets. Refused to believe she made a mistake while being offered to search my car and being watched while I unpacked the bag entirely and turned it upside down. Did not even possess the ability to count money correctly when giving a refund. She gave me more money than I spent. Maybe working while intoxicated?? Probably should be...
Read moreTerrible service. I was picking up an order to deliver. I tried to enter the lobby which is was locked. Fine. I get on the drive thru that is super slow, finally reach the intercom and ask the worker if they could hand me the order at the door so I don’t have to hold up the line. I figured I’d just park up front. I got an emphatic no if broken English. So many of the workers don’t speak English well yet are the ones dealing with the customers which is beyond dumb. Anyway I wait on the line and get to the first window which is a pay window. The nice girl opens the window and asks what my order was. I tell her it’s a delivery order and asked her nicely if she could just hand me the order from there. She says she can’t but at the next window they can. I’m fine with that, I understand not her area to do. Another 5 minutes or so goes by before I get to window 2. The gentleman answers the window but doesn’t speak English well. Starts to point ahead. I don’t understand what he means as there is a car ahead of me stopped at the last window and I had previously saw this gentleman hand a customer their food from this window. So I asked what he was meaning. He closes the window and has a woman who looks to be Hispanic tell me I need to go to pickup window 3. Well technically the 1st window is pay and then they have window 1 pickup, and window 2 pickup. I can’t move up as I have a car at that window. She then instructs me to pull up front and they’ll hand me the order at the door. So I said to her how I asked if I could pull up front to begin with so I didn’t hold up the drive thru. She replies with a nasty “I’m the manager and I’m telling you to pull up front”. So I said “no reason to be rude”. I was just explaining what I was instructed by her coworker to do. Not to mention, there isn’t a window 3 for pickup. Just say pull up front. I wasn’t arguing with her and didn’t understand why she was so rude about it. This is the worst McDonald’s to deal with whether doing deliveries or ordering your own food. The drive thru is always backed up and the service is super slow. They have workers manning the window that don’t speak English, or not well enough, which makes no sense as you’re setting them up for failure and angering the customers who can’t communicate effectively with them. The one time I did order my own food here it was totally wrong and missing the fries. Read all the other reviews on here and you’ll see my experience isn’t a one off. This store is terrible and should be under new management or...
Read moreWorst at McDonald's in Louisville, save your money, time, and energy and just go to the location on Lagrange or Westport. I waited in line for over 20 minutes, watching them serve car after car, only to receive a big bag of cold food. The English-speaking workers (light-skinned girl manager and light-skinned guy) refused to help me. They kept hiding in the back, sending the employees who did not speak English to deal with me. She told the worker to tell me no manager was on duty to avoid dealing with me. I had to get out of my car and walk into their kitchen through the back open door to get help. I stood by the doorway, and only the non-English-speaking employees were trying to help. I saw the girl walk into the office, where the guy that didn't speak English well went in and told her I needed help. She sent him back out and told him no manager was there, so I asked for someone who could help. I was left standing there, where I then picked up my phone, started recording, and walked back to the office where I saw the girl, only to learn that she was in fact the manager, as she identified the location being her store and was dressed in manager attire. I asked for a refund but still was not given one. I had to call the corporate office and still have not been refunded my money. The food was cold, the service was terrible. I really wish I could upload the video, but...
