I had just heard about this new restaurant from Louisville business first. It just opened off Broadway and is in the old city Café space. It is run by a family and they are trying to build their business in Louisville. I wanted to visit and check out their offerings. I went on a Friday night and they were very kind and promptly seated me. I was given a menu and even though they don’t have their liquor license have plenty of options with soda and aqua Fresca. I was very impressed with their menu options as they had many appetizers, lunch specials, and dinner specials. As a vegetarian, their vegetarian combos were different and intriguing. I got vegetarian combo B, which included a vegetarian, bean burrito, a tostada and a quesadilla. It was prompt to come out and it was very tasty. Read moreI've eaten at a LOT - and I do mean a LOT - of Mexican restaurants in my life. This place absolutely CLEARED all of them when it comes to the quality of the food alone. I ordered one of the lunch specials, the fajita chimichanga, and it was so unbelievably delicious. Well-seasoned, hot, freshly fried...I could seriously eat that thing every day. It came with your typical sides - rice and beans, along with a guacamole/lettuce salad. Their guacamole was so simple and delicious in flavor, along with the pico de gallo as well. Read moreI ordered a Burrito Mi Ranchito and a Burritos Nortenos. When I think of a Burrito, I think of a dry burrito wrapped in a flour tortilla. Even with dressing on the burrito, I am thinking of a minimal amount.
Attached is how it came out. Both orders were not hot, and they were wet burritos which was not mentioned anywhere in the online description.
