We definitely will never return here and I would suggest going somewhere else for a lunch buffet, if that’s what you are looking for. I can’t speak as to the other menu options here, because obviously we did not get to try those, but judging from the cleanliness and level of service at this restaurant, I would be afraid to try anything else here.
Very disappointed in their lunch buffet. There were only six or seven items with only two vegetarian options, and one of them tasted horrible.
The dahl lentils tasted like they were burnt or been left sitting out too long or something. Both of us tried one bite and noticed something was off with the taste. Other than the lentils in the buffet, the only other vegetarian option in the buffet was a mushroom dish That was almost empty, and basically was kind of like a mushy mess all pushed into the corner of the pan it was sitting in, and it really didn’t taste like much. If you don’t eat chicken, there is really no option for you here unless you want some burnt tasting lentils or some lukewarm slimy, gooey, mushroom stuff that I have never experienced before. With only 7 items total available on the lunch buffet (burnt tasting lentils, the slimy mushroom stuff, three different chicken dishes, a dish of lettuce and tomatoes with no dressing available, and a pan with some greasy samosas and pakora), for a vegetarian, there was really no choice of anything to eat other than a tiny plate of lettuce with some tomatoes and cucumbers in it with no dressing nearby or deep fried greasy stuff (samosas or pakora). At $15, this was laughable, and definitely not a good value.
The service was abysmal: There was one older gentleman there, and he never once picked up our dirty plates and never offered us a refill on water. I guess maybe he didn’t pick up our dirty plates because they were still a little bit of food left on them because we couldn’t eat it because it tasted so bad, but we did stack them up so it should’ve been apparent that they were not being used. Instead, we were left to look at them for our entire meal and we’re still sitting there when we walked out of the restaurant.
-Our water glasses were never refilled.
-Dirty plates were left in front of us and we’re still there when we got up to leave.
-The bathrooms were filthy. Even the bathroom doors going into the bathroom were disgustingly filthy. How long would it take you to take some cleaner and wipe down the bathroom doors where thousands of people touch them? Disgusting. (I didn’t have my phone with me or I would’ve taken pictures). As soon as I walked into the bathroom, I thought oh man, we really made a mistake in eating here. I should’ve went to the bathroom first, then we would’ve turned around and walked out and never eaten there.
Definitely a mistake on our part to try this place. We were once again duped by overinflated Google reviews. What else is new Colorado?

Read moreI love this place. I've been for lunch (they have a buffet), for dinner several times, and brought a few friends from out of town and everything's always been amazing. My only disclaimer is that I don't know much about Indian food traditions, so I am only talking about taste in this review. Personally, I love the lamb korma, I have a hard time ordering anything else. It's just so delicious. I must say that hot is pretty hot compared to other restaurants, but the true spice lover might want to ask for something extra - not sure, because I'm not that person. They're generous with the rice, the 3 or 4 types of naan I've tried have been delicious (though I ultimately prefer plain with my korma!). Appetizers were kind of meh in my opinion so far, though the taj kabobs were very tasty. Every time I eat here we've been given some free rice pudding at the end (I have no idea why) and it's delicious as well, though certainly not Western-style. Also, we ordered takeout once and got free beer, I don't know if that's because we've been a few times or some kind of rare gift, but it's worth mentioning they have a few tasty beers. And despite most of the staff being unimaginably soft-spoken,...
Read moreMy wife and I went to eat at Taj Mahal III on a recommendation from a friend. We seen the reviews was almost 5 stars so I don’t take the time to read them. We are with several people who question the 5 star reviews. The food was very bland and maybe flavor with red food color but actually forgot to add any spices. I don’t know if it’s the waiter, owner or manager but he was not very welcoming. Our drinks were canned soda the rice was basic. We went out to eat for the experience and there’s no pleasure in the experience here at Taj Mahal III. I am guessing there’s 3 different locations of this restaurant maybe the others are better but who knows. What ever happened to customer service? I am surprised this place with such horrible reviews survived the Covid it should of gone out of business. We will never go back and keep telling others. What if a family that’s struggling financially and saved money to go and eat a special dinner and had this experience. That is stealing money from customers. Treat customers like they are the most important all in all that is how they get their money to run the business. Don’t treat customers like they are an...
