The Salad Chic — Restaurant in Louisville

Ordered chicken salad with croissant. What I got was a a chicken salad on croissant sandwich. I wanted the croissant to eat later with a salad. I tried separating the salad from the croissant and it was so soggy that I decided to just eat the sandwich. A couple hours after finishing the sandwich I started getting a horrible headache, followed by my stomach being upset. Within a 4 hr time period from finishing the sandwich I had a funny feeling, stomach cramps and kept going to the restroom. I was ill to the point I didn’t want to eat for days, headache for days as well as diarrhea. I will definitely not be going there ever again , and for those who do attempt to patronize this business as I did , I hope your experience...

Heard this was a BOB (black owned business) and I was eager to check out this spot. The owners son was taking orders and cashing out customers. I ordered a Build Your Own Salad with about 5 additional toppings and extra dressing. I specifically asked for romaine lettuce only as my leafy green & fried chicken as my protein option. But instead I got iceberg lettuce & what seemed to be store bought Tyson chicken tenders which were hard, dry, and over cooked (I was advised the tenders were hand breaded). In addition to the wrong lettuce and poorly cooked chicken, 2/5 of the additional toppings I paid for were missing from my salad. I didn't eat the salad I just tossed it in the trash. Not willing to patronize this...
