The man who took our order (who was also the cashier) was very combative. Myself, my boyfriend, and his kids went to get lunch. Initially it was your standard wendys experience until we got to the window. The guy told us one price at the speaker and when we rolled up we gave him exact change only to be asked for about 10 dollars more than he first stated. This wouldn't be an issue except for the fact my partner and I were both beyond certain of what he initially said. His reasoning was he had us down for two orders. Never once did we say anything about wanting to split the order, nor did he say anything about a 2nd order when telling us what we owed. When my boyfriend voiced his frustration the guy got animated and was very rude. It was such an uncomfortable situation. After we forked over the extra money he asked for three more dollars on top of that which absolutely floored my boyfriend. His explanation as to why he needed THAT money was a bunch of barely understandable nonsense. When all was said and done he shoved our bag in the car and slammed his window. This was the worst drive through experience I've ever had and that's really saying something. If my boyfriend was giving off karen vibes I could understand the actions but for all intensive purposes we were VERY reasonable.. especially given he asked for about 15 more than the original total with an explanation that made virtually no sense. Read moreSpent 1/2 hour in the drive thru after placing my order, or so I thought. Gave the cahier my debit card and things went downhill after that. She didn't speak English and she didn't understand what I wanted. The only person that spoke English was on break. After waiting 30 minutes I drove around and parked, walked into the store (nobody eating or ordering there), I asked for my debit card back and they had me point to the pictures on the menu for my order. The girl that spoke English finally clocked back in and assured me that they were making my order. Back again with the pictures for me to order. I had enough and walked out. Now I have to monitor my debit card in case there are charges on it that I didn't make!! Cross that store off my list as a place...
Read moreService at every Wendys has went down over the past couple years. Always mess up you order & quality of food seems to have down graded. The staff at this location & Bardstown Rd & Hikes Lane always under staff. Frosty machine is working 50% of time. You're a hassle to the employees just by choosing to be there. If you go w/ 30 minutes to close they're will tell you that they are closing & only have limited menu. So bad service & inflation has made the price ridiculous , dollar menu has tripled if it used to be a dollar it's now $279 those are minature sandwiches.
