Used to be tolerable—their online ordering/tracking system sucks (i.e., there IS no tracking system and you’re left to wonder if your food is ready for pickup or being delivered anytime this century), but aside from that, fine. Sure, their quality control is lacking (half the time my spread is globbed on, half the time is borderline undetectable), but still…no major complaints. Until last week. I walked in to order two of the same sandwiches, got them both promptly, took them home, and the one my husband unwrapped had a giant, disgusting reddish hair slapped on top of the bread and woven into the filling. Neither of us has red hair or anything close. I get it, these things happen (shouldn’t based on health standards and hair nets, but happen nonetheless); but what pisses me off is that when I repeatedly tried to submit feedback online using their website, I was given error after error message, claiming my feedback was unable to be delivered. So I switched tactics and sent a direct email (feedback at jimmyjohns dot com) and was directed back to the faulty website. When I reached back out to explain the issue, I received no response. So I am left with a hairy sandwich which I paid for and was unable to eat, and absolutely no recourse to receive even so much as an apology, let alone a refund. So here I am, hairy sandwich photo evidence in hand and a 1 star review. Respond to your customers, maybe your reviews...
Read moreWanted to order two sandwiches for my roommate and I. I went to place the order online and it said that it couldn't be ready in the windows that it was offering on the website. It was offering 5 to 5:30 and 5:30 to 6:00 and neither option worked. When I called the restaurant they gave me an entirely different price for the two sandwiches than what the website did. It was an extra 2 to $3 more ordering through the phone. Then it was the website. When I asked the employee he just gave me a bunch of numbers and said that they just raised their prices and the website doesn't reflect their raised prices yet. And I was like well, Then I want the price that I got on the website. It was $7.99/sandwich. He was saying it was $8.39 per sandwich plus $1.50 for cheese and a bunch of other stupid s*. So I didn't order through them and I decided to never shop at this store again since they were so unreasonably stupid and unaccommodating. Wednesday December 13th 5:10pm. Keep in mind, when I was ordering on the website I was ordering for pickup and when I ordered through him I was also ordering for pickup. So I know that it wasn't a delivery charge fee or anything like that. He was overcharging me for the sandwiches. I feel like this person I talked to was uneducated and young and didn't care at all. Happy to take my business...
Read moreBEWARE OF THIS LOCATION - EVEN IF YOU ORDER AND PRE-PAY IN ADVANCE!! I have ordered large orders for the sports teams at our school for 5 years. Placed an order and pre-paid for it with Jada more than 24 hours in advance. Was called 40 minutes before order was due to be picked up and Liberty, the 1st assistant, told me that because they had a busy day, they would only have 36 of the 63 sandwiches that I pre-ordered and pre-paid for. Was told bread was proofing and there was absolutely nothing they could do. This was for a 3:30 PM pick up. They had ALL day to make the bread! Asked for the owner or regional manager's email or contact info and was told that it is not their policy to give that information out. We had to scramble to get the remaining food for our sports team before the bus left. This location does not even deserve 1 star but to leave a comment you have to give at least one. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!
(Update: just called to have them print out my receipt and spoke with Jada, the lady who took my order (unfortunately she was not there on Friday, and knew nothing about what had happened). She was very apologetic. She is the ONLY person at this location that...
