⭐ 1/5 Stars - AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Save yourself both money and disappointment - stay far away from this Panera Bread location. What they're serving isn't food, it's highway robbery with a side of lettuce cores.
Ordered a $7 "smoothie" that turned out to be nothing but a cup of ice with a hint of flavor somewhere in there. Every attempt to drink it was a battle with the straw getting clogged by massive ice chunks. They must think their customers won't notice that they're basically selling overpriced ice water with food coloring.
The "fresh" ingredients? Let me tell you about fresh. My $13 sandwich and my husband's salad were stuffed with what can only be described as garbage-worthy lettuce ends - you know, the brown, tough cores that even rabbits would reject. We spent half our meal performing surgery on our food, picking out these inedible pieces. His half sandwich and soup combo was an eye-watering $17, which is what you'd expect to pay at a high-end restaurant, not for cafeteria-quality food.
For nearly $40, we could have eaten at a real restaurant. Instead, we got the privilege of paying premium prices for food that belongs in a compost bin. The only thing "artisan" about this place is their artful ability to separate customers from their hard-earned money.
Pros: Taught me a valuable lesson about wasting money Made me appreciate literally every other restaurant At least they're consistent in their terrible quality
Cons: Daylight robbery disguised as a restaurant Smoothies are essentially cups of ice with flavor whispered over them Lettuce cores galore - apparently they can't tell the difference between food and compost Prices that would make a luxury restaurant blush Portion sizes that would make a mouse feel cheated
Bottom line: If you enjoy throwing money away while picking through sub-par ingredients, this is your place. Otherwise, you'd get better value flushing your cash down the toilet - at least then you wouldn't have to pick lettuce cores out...
Read moreMy family and I visited this location on Saturday, May 23rd at around 5:45 we parked our WHITE NISSAN PATHFINDER on the first parking spot closest to one of your doors and placed an order. As we sat there we watched multiple people receiving their orders. We saw two different employees come out to the same side of the building we were on deliver meals to others, we even made eye contact with the manager who saw us. At 6:15 we received a notification that our order was ready, but no food. We kept waiting till about 6:30 when my cousin went inside to see what was going on. Our food and drinks had just been sitting there, the poor excuse they used was that they couldn’t see us, even though we were parked right in front. My cousin came back and naturally we were angry since our sandwiches were hard and the ice in our drinks had already been melted. My aunt then proceeded to go inside just so the manager could have the audacity to say “That’s not the side we deliver curbside pickup” and laughed in my aunts face even though we clearly watched them deliver multiple orders to other people. He then said that they couldn’t see the car. From where we were parked we could clearly see the register and the employees so this was a blatant lie. He had no excuses at this point. This man didn’t even apologize he just proceeded to get angrier and angrier saying that it was our fault and at this point my aunt asked for her money back to which then he said “if you want your money back you have to bring the food back.” This was impossible since back in the car we had already devoured most of the food since it was cold we didn’t want to wait for it to get worse. In the end all that we wanted was an explanation as to why we sat in the Panera parking lot next to the curbside pickup sign for almost an hour and to not receive our food, or not to be treated with the same respect as the...
Read moreI ordered through DoorDash almost a week ago and found a small shard of glass in my sandwich. I reported it through DoorDash, but also called the restaurant to let them know and to see if they would be able to help with refunding the order because (at the time) DoorDash only offered a partial refund. The first girl I talked to at Panera was really nice, but said she was putting me on hold to get a manager and hung up. No big deal, figured it was an honest mistake and called back. The second girl that answered was beyond rude, didn’t really give me the time of day, just took my name and phone number and said somebody would reach out. Then quickly hung up as well without saying goodbye. Nobody ever reached out. I had to jump through hoops with DoorDash to get the rest of the order refunded, and ultimately did get my money back but Panera handled this SO poorly. Broken glass in your food is a serious safety issue and they did not take it seriously at all. Didn’t ask if I was ok (it was a tiny piece but did cut the inside of my mouth). Offered no apology, refund, or most importantly reassurance that they’d look into the situation and try to find the source of the broken glass. Hopefully nobody else was affected. I called their national support line as well, and was again told somebody would be reaching out from the corporate level but...
