
I tried this location when it first opened and had a fantastic meal. I was so excited to have a spicy seafood restaurant so close by. I returned with my family a few weeks later but my mussels were very overcooked and rubbery. I thought maybe we caught them on a bad day, so I gave them another try a month later with a friend for dinner before seeing a show a few doors down. That meal was also terrible, very rubbery, overcooked mussels. It's a shame because the sauce is delicious and garlicky but the chef can't get the timing right with the seafood. I don't know if they use timers or not but even if they do, if the seafood continues to "cook" while other meals are being made, that might be why it keeps coming out rubbery. I left a comment on the facebook page and was told I should give the restaurant another try since they have a new chef. We are going tonight for dinner to give it another try. I hope to have a better experience. It's been a year since I have had a meal there. I tried the new place across the street Loui Loui, the meat was perfectly cooked but the sauces aren't as good as Holy Crab. I wish I could have the holy sauce on Loui...

All the employees saw it and did absolutely nothing to help, which is nothing new with these people since I’ve been here in person in the past and the employees are always rude (clearly hate doing the job they signed up for) but I bared with it because the food was great. Maybe a place that sells pounds of seafood boils should package their food properly and in bags that can support it? Crazy thought, I know. The driver even asked if they could remake the order since they all witnessed what had happened and one guy shrugged his shoulders and said no. The driver was nothing but pleasant to deal with but this restaurant seriously needs to rehire their staff. All employees are ill mannered and don’t deserve a paycheck. Read moreI used to visit Holly Crab all the time. I ordered from them when they joined Foodler and I always tipped well. Then one day when I tried ordering online, I asked for extra sauce, and he said it was not allowed. We’re only allowed 2 per bag. Which never happened before the dozens of times I ordered. Whoever the idiot business owner or manager I was speaking to had terrible customer service and was obviously making up rules on the go. Nowhere on the menu or website did it have max quantities. I asked what if I ordered a hundred cajun fries, would that be fine? Then I asked what the hell is the difference. You have an item on a menu, you set a price. I was willing to pay for it. So now you lost a good customer along with the number of folks who always go there as group. We will be forwarding the message along to as many people as possible to stop going to your location.
