Pop Cultured — Local services in Lowell

I’ve been a patron of this shop since Mill no 5, I’ve spent many paychecks here, and have attended a lot of magic events and gave the last location 5 stars. All that said, I can’t justify spending my money here anymore. The latest Final Fantasy magic the gathering release was mismanaged and has left a bad taste in my and my friend’s mouths. For a small store I’m sure their other TCG releases are fine and their community events and staff are great, but fumbling product for the largest magic release of the year has taken...

Not a bad shop, but definitely seems new to running pre-releases and still figuring out their space. While it was nice they didn't price gouge entry, only the top three getting prize support beyond a promo pack had some murmors through the attendees. The lack of air conditioning and no drinks/snacks available definitely didn't help with the experience either.

Pop Cultured has a really great assortment of collectibles that I would usually only see online. It's just really cool to be able to hold the thing in your hand before buying, even if it is a mass produced board game, card deck, or doll. I can't think of another shop like it for miles around.
