Wow. What a place! Recently came here with my family to try new food. We drove all the way from NH to try Infuse Afro out and it did not disappoint! First of all, really cool vibe. Loved the music in the background. Staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and made sure our experience was great. This was our first time eating this type of food and our server did a wonderful job guiding us and explaining the food. We did bring our kids and while they dont have a kid specific menu, our server made sure to let us know they would be willing to figure something out for us if need be.
My kids were a bit loud and running around a few times haha, but not once did any one of the staff made me feel bad about it. One woman even offered to keep an eye on one of my kiddos so i could eat. I couldnt have been more grateful and put at ease.
Now the food. Hands down my favorite thing was the meat pie. So simple yet sooo well executed. The pastry dough was incredible. I would grab a bunch and freeze at home just to have for a quick snack or lunch. The chicken skewers were so juicy and delicious. Great char. I would have loved a dipping sauce to come with it though, but I think that is more personal preference than anything. Also, could have used 3 instead of two. But they were decent size, good appetizer.
We got the chicken stew and okra soup with fufu. Now this was our first time eating fufu. Be warned you will need napkins but it will be worth it. The chicken stew was my favorite out of the two. I do wish there was more meat, but the flavor was spot on.
It is on the pricer side, but I think that the food and service make it worth it.

My colleagues and I went for our lunch break, food took over an hour to come out. I wish this was communicated to us because we only have an hour lunch so we were all late coming back to the office. People who came in 20 minutes after us received their food at the same time.
Samosas were a 6/10, oily and had no sauce Skewers were a 7/10, slightly burnt Jerk chicken plate 2/10 (coworkers rating), burnt chicken, dry jollof rice, soggy plantains, and there was ketchup on the slaw. Boom Boom chicken sandwich 4/10 (co-workers rating), asked for topping on side, came on sandwich. Replaced yuka fries with regular fries and she liked them. But got toast instead of sandwich bun found in pics online. Fish Stew 8/10, slightly oily but fish was good, tomatoes sauce was good, and rice was fine.
The inside of the restaurant was nice, I just wish they sold alcohol. My co-worker ordered a $9 glass of wine. Wine was non-alcoholic (not stated on menu) and she was charged $11 for it. She told them and they corrected the bill.
I think this place has potential but needs more staff. They could also benefit from hosting events. Love supporting black owned businesses and would love to see the improvements they...
Read moreJust went for the first time recently. Me and my family were one of two parties in there, which surprised me, because the food is delicious. The jollof rice and chicken were amazing, as were the samosas, and whatever is served on the side with the chicken sandwich. The twisted donut desert was to die for! The atmosphere is good; catchy music that wasn’t too loud and nice lighting. The seats were also comfortable and the temperature inside was good. The first woman who served us did not have good customer service qualities, though. When my family first walked in, she saw us, and then walked to the back and we waited a bit to be seated. She did not say hello to us, and just told us to sit at a table. I don’t expect/need incredibly friendly service, but to not even be greeted is a bit much. Everyone is human/has bad days though, and she wasn’t insulting, belittling, etc., so it was probably a fluke. I will say that the second woman who served us, as our first server’s shift was over, was phenomenal. She was so kind and friendly, and she made me and my family feel so welcome!! I will definitely be...
