Rosa's Café & Tortilla Factory — Restaurant in Lubbock

Everything WAS great from the get go starting with the girl that took our order, who was awesome btw, to the amount of time it took to prepare our order, but when our order popped up on the screen, is where everything went wrong. After our order # popped up on the screen, I went to counter to get our order and they couldn't find it. A couple of min latest two kids about 10 years old Walk up to the pickup window with MY order in hands and I hear then tell them manager who was at the window at that time to, that they were given the wrong order so the manager realizes that that was my order and takes the trays from them and turns around and gives em to me. Had I been the manager, I would have apologized for the mix-up and then I woulda had my employees REMAKE their order (only because you never know if the person that got our order by mistake is sick or has a cold or maybe even accidentally sneezed on our food!!) and when it was ready, I woulda delivered it to their table myself and apologized again. But I was already frustrated because of the mix-up and then them not offering to remake the order so I didn't say anything, and we barely touched our food. I know and understand that mistakes happen but they are less likely to happen when you're paying attention to...

I was so annoyed at this place we sat down at a table that looked clean but it was not and it smelled like vinegar so I decided to move I checked 3 other tables and they were also dirty so I decided to sit at the 5th table bc it looked cleaned up but it was not it was sticky but I decided not to move again all the time there were a total of 8 employees just standing in one spot talking to each other at one point and they were standing in the way of the salsa bar in everybody's way I was so annoyed bc as I was watching them just talking and not working I looked around and there were more than 5 tables that we're not clean not to mention they gave me and my fiance the incorrect order after they made us wait 15mins after our number came up on the board which normally if your order is on the board that means your order is ready but even with them lagging on getting the order out they still didn't get it right the only thing nice to say about this Rosa's is the cashier was really nice and sweet but I will never go to the Rosa's cafe on 50th st again I will stick to the one on Milwaukee or 4th st bc their service and cleanliness is allot better... disappointed doesn't even describe the beginning...

It’s 938. I got home maybe 20 minutes ago. I made an order and it was short an item a beef taco plate, soft taco however, after looking at the receipt, I noticed they only charge me for the number two case of chips, however. Upon calling there, I spoke with a gentleman named Ethan once I looked at the receipt and realized that I wasn’t charged for the number two beef soft he was willing to give that to me comp. I explain to him that was not necessary because I wasn’t charged, and I refused to accept something for free that it was not charged for however his professionalism and the fact that he was willing to do that just to my satisfactory I give my respect to that gentleman and this location I advise everyone to visit this location. I have not ever had anything bad or unusual happen. This is the first time this is happened, but the fact that he was willing to make it better because it’s not right to take something for free that I did not pay for , So I suggest everyone visit this location big shout out to Ethan who happens to be working on this shift May 11, 2024 9...
