NEVER Returning here. What a terrible experience and huge waste of money. Two weeks ago we came here and the chef at our table was amazing as we watched him prepare our food, we enjoyed his tricks and sense of humor. He was friendly and funny and seasoned our food with many seasonings on his cart and prepared the meat according to what HE asked each of us. This Sunday we returned for a birthday dinner. The chef destroyed the New York steak, overcooking all of it (3 people), he used no seasonings. The first time (2 weeks ago) I was given 12-14 shrimp on a full order, this time I was given FOUR in total. Most astonishing was that our chef created "to go" boxes from our food. The "to go" food was not brought separate. He took from our food. The amount we received was a drastic reduction in comparison. Also each person had maybe 1/2 cup of Yakisoba noodles (which are a part of the dinner) and everything including the chicken was overcooked. A major change from two weeks ago. The food was not flavorful. We had to add salt. The cook seemed tired. He spun the egg on the spatula and it dropped twice then hit it, then said we should clap. The owner said she wouldn't charge for one $9 drink to make up for the 3 orders of destroyed tough New York steak, lack of shrimp and dry chicken. We had watched 3 tables celebrate birthdays using tambourines with lights, but they never did for my son, per my 2 requests. They stuck a candle in ice cream instead. That part is not that big deal, but the food was bland and the portions were super small. My kids were still hungry. I am so disappointed. Hubby's mom was from Japan and he misses how his mom cooked. He thought this might be a good place to come to, from time to time but its not. The picture is from our first visit and was taken AFTER I had already eaten. There were several shrimp remaining on my plate. On our most recent visit I was given only 4 shrimp ever !!! There is no excuse for this. We had wanted this dinner to be special and it...

I made a reservation 3-4 weeks in advance for July 4th, Independence Day.

We were a party of 9 for a 70th birthday celebration, but when we arrived at the restaurant, to my horror, it was closed.

Of course there was NOWHERE else we could go last minute and the celebration got ruined. When I called the restaurant later, the first thing that say said was I (NOT THEM!) must have made a mistake by making a reservation at another "FUJI" restaurant.

I was certain that I called the correct place since I made the reservation in the car and the call was on Bluetooth. There were other ppl present who heard the whole conversation and the call history also proved that I called the correct place.

After being put on hold for 5 minutes and being asked what I want out of this experience, it was apparent that the person who I was speaking to was not in a position to take any responsibility. So I asked to speak to the owners, but I was told that they only speak Korean so they can't take my call.

I said I can speak Korean too, but after being put on hold again, I was told that the owners will not talk to me and that there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING they can do.

So guys, I am warning you - if you want to take your chances of a ruined dinner plan, go ahead. The owners will not take any responsibility whatsoever, let alone speak to you when things go south.

They will try to blame you, then their part time employee, and if that doesn't work they will COMPLETELY IGNORE YOU.

I was planning to make another reservation if the owners' owned up to this mistake, but they only hid behind their employee and blamed another 'part time' waitress who may or may not have been the one who took my reservation. I said I was really disappointed at how they do business and even their employee also mentioned that he was disappointed how this was being handled too! Horrible horrible work ethics. I wish there was a no star option. The way they handled this situation calls...

I went to a Japanese steakhouse expecting dinner and a show, but what we got was a pricey meal with a side of mild entertainment. We paid $160 for a few scoops of rice and about 10 oz of meat, which, at those prices, should’ve at least come with a little more flair.

The chef? Not exactly the life of the party. We had two young kids who were completely mesmerized by his every move—too bad there weren’t many. Minimal tricks, little interaction, and about as much enthusiasm as someone halfway through a long shift.

Now, let’s talk about portion size—or lack thereof. It’s rare to spend $160 on two adults and two kids and still leave hungry, but somehow, they pulled it off. I mentioned it to the person who collected our bill, but there wasn’t much effort to make it right—no extra food, no adjustment, just a polite nod.

Thinking maybe I was just out of touch with how much food these places usually serve, I did some research. Turns out, other locations are far more generous, so this wasn't just my imagination.

Oh, and the wait? Even on a Thursday, it took over 40 minutes to get our food. So if you’re looking for a light meal with a high price tag, this might be the spot for you. Otherwise, you might be better off firing up the hibachi at home.

Would I go back? Probably not. Too expensive for...

Celebrated on my birthday with an awesome chef who cooked right in front of us. Ordered steak and lobster, but the lobster was on the smaller size and even the chef said next time I come he will get me a bigger lobster. I know what I am getting when I go to Costco so I got a 4 pack of lobsters for $54 and had my husband cook them, so now I am fully satisfied. The steak is on the menu was 5 oz and likely weighed that after cooked. The lobster weighed less than that. My mom got scallops and chicken which tasted great! My sister ordered the tofu and vegetables which were cooked vegan style. They were even able to make fried rice without the egg and it still tasted good. My sister ordered the fried rice, but my mom and I ordered the steamed rice. The chef still put some of the fried rice onto our plate, which was very thoughtful. The spring rolls are vegan and delicious as is the complementary miso soup. For dessert I got a free ice cream dessert! Sex and the beach was perfectly sweet and the haiko peach sake tasted like a alcoholic Georgia peach. Almost forgot the vegi roll comes with at least six pieces that are fresh and big.
