12/16/23 As tasty as ever, great service, easy parking. Arrive early!

We started with the wonton soup and a pot of green tea. The stir fried eggplant is served with white rice, a favorite. The shrimp fried rice is our favorite fried rice among all the restaurants that we go to.

UPDATE: In mid February 2023 we didn't rush to be in the first seating for lunch. Even so we got an okay table, not the booth that we wanted. They serve our favorite lunch on soup in the entire Seattle area. We also find that their shrimp, fried rice or pork fried rice or whatever is superior to most. Maybe they use a smoke flavor? We like the quality of the rice. This time we had shrimp, and plenty of it! My wife had simple iced tea and I took Starbucks coffee to go. I think it's Pike. It's good. The service was again excellent. The check was a little over $40. That's very reasonable for lunch these days. We always managed to find good parking when we eat at PF Chang's.

OLDER REVIEW This is our favorite and default place to eat in Alderwood Mall. On the most recent visit I tried something new, but still craved the delicious wonton soup so I got it to go. My wife's favorite is the shrimp fried rice, whose portion makes two meals for her, unless I help myself too much. LOL

I was delighted with the delicious Mongolian beef. It's very simple with a huge amount of green onion which I did not eat. The portion was so generous that we took some home. It's the sauce that makes it special, some chef's variation on a kind of oyster sauce or hoisin, nothing one could easily duplicate at home, wonderful!

I think that I've previously reviewed the spectacular Peking duck, which my wife has ordered in the past. Delicious and with a gorgeous presentation!

We were likewise amazed at the delicious stir-fried eggplant with lots of mushrooms. We took some home and my wife added mushrooms to it, just because we had plenty of delicious left-over egg plant and sauce.

We never order dessert, but this time we made an exception for the Banana Spring Rolls, similar to a native dessert in my wife's homeplace, the Philippines. They are not too sweet, with a light caramel sauce. The coconut pineapple ice cream is a perfect light complement to these warm crunchy treats. I never imagined anything so delicious!

We joked about making a future trip from our home thirty miles away in West Seattle, just for PF Chiang's Banana Spring Rolls. Try them!

We always find these servers to be happy and helpful. We'd already received the bill when we added the afterthought to go order. We had asked for a booth and we got one. I don't know, such a pleasant lunch experience makes the whole day glow with satisfaction. Thank you staff members of PF...

Picked up an order on our way through to friends place. It took more than 25 minutes for the order to be brought out to the car. It was frustrating as a person with disabilities it is not easy to get out of the car and go into the restaurant to pick up the to go order myself. Yet I noticed several people parking and going into the restaurant and coming out with their to go orders immediately. So I texted the number that I was still waiting and disabled and hard to get into the restaurant and received no reply. Once we received our order and got to the house, I was very disappointed in the quality. I have Celiac Disease and all our food was Gluten Free. First, there was no GF soy sauce included. Second, the GF Pad Thai had been seasoned with chili flakes - as in over seasoned. It was too hot for me to eat. I have never seen so many chili flakes in a Pad Thai previously at a PF Changs. We also had the GF Sinapore Noodles which I usually quite enjoy. Again the chili bandit struck - WAY too much seasoning! At that point I looked at the bill that was attached to the bag just to check that we had the right food and that I had NOT selected extra spicy by mistake! I had not. I travel a lot and quite frequently patronize the PF Changs chain. Only restaurant that I have had a worse experience in was in Dubai - which was a totally different challenge with eating GF. At this location, the other 2 meals that we ordered were okay however the soup was way to salty. We could not eat it and had to throw it away. I visit this PF Changs when coming down from Canada as it is easy to get to and I then do not have to cook dinner. However when more than half the food that you order is not able to be eaten, that is a problem. I hope the next time I order (or I might just go to Bellevue instead) the quality...

I am writing in hopes that this reaches the highest it can in upper management. This might be a little long winded but worth it. I ordered a meal for me and my family online. It had struggle after struggle with uber and the delivery drivers canceling or not being able to pick up and the order being taken by someone else and so on and so on. I was pretty much at my wits end and losing it as i had a home full of hungry mouths to feed and this was our treat after a long week and I have had a really long and hard week filled with many upsets. So to add to this I was getting beyond frustrated. The manager got on the phone and worked to try to and solve the problem. I was mad and started to become short with him and realized I shouldn't as he is trying to help and apologized. He was now remaking it and now It was a battle with UBER and just added more issues to the situation. He did his best to resolve my issue but at the end of the day I was not getting my food.

I then get a call on my phone. It was Matias. He took it upon himself as he knew I was frustrated and having a hard time with this even though it was just food. To my surprise he stated that he is going to personally drive my food to us as UBER was not helping them resolve this situation and he did not want to keep me waiting. Keep in mind I am not close and it is a 20 minute drive each way. I will have to say it really changed my mood for the evening and made me appreciate his help even more and the fact someone would go to that extent to provide the best customer service I have ever seen. I feel its only proper this person gets a shout out and hopefully you can express to him my gratitude as well to saving the day.

Thank you to the...

Came here during a girls trip. We’re Canadian and it was our first time at PF Chang’s. We made a reservation and when they brought us to our table one of the eight chairs was not there, they got it for us once we requested it of course. The food was okay with the best items being the Egg Drop Soup, the Lettuce Wraps and the Mongolian Beef. The Singapore Noodles, Pad Thai and Orange Chicken were very bland. My friend ordered the Peach Boba Breeze and it arrived to the table with no boba in it and when we told our server Ericka she looked really confused and there was a lot of back and forth until she decided she would come back with a ramiken (or OC whatever you call it) of boba. I tried it and it was quite good. Other than that, the service was fine. When it came to paying the bill she put it all on one bill rather than asking us ahead of time how we would like to split it. I’m not sure how it works in the US but as a server in Canada it’s pretty simple to divide a bill up by each person. However because she didn’t divide it, it just made more work for us later as one of us had to pay and then we had to do the math later for the conversion and everything. (remember we’re from Canada) I was also surprised that auto gratuity was 20%, she did inform us of it however I was just surprised how high it was. Our server did honour our friends birthday though with a free dessert of which we really appreciated. This review isn’t for bad service it’s just for overall experience including the food.

We shared a last minute meal after seeing an oncologist. The service here was top notch, and the food can't say it was the best I had. But I have paid allot more and hard very bad food. We ordered the Dynamite Shrimp, it was a tempura batter with sriracha aioli, it was a very light start to our meal. We followed with a cup of hot and sour and wonton soup. Both were very tasting. Other then unsalted chicken bit on the bottom of my hot and sour soup. Lastly we had a glass of vine with our dinner. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken and Orange chicken. My partner loved the sweetness of the orange chicken, only thing he mentioned would have made it better was if the chicken would have been crispy. The batter on the orange chicken was too moist so that light crispness you expect from the batter on the chicken was not there. For me the Kung Pao Chicken was just way too salty, if not for the Fried Rice to mix in to take some of the saltiness down. I would have sent it back. Otherwise the location is nice, service was great. It was allot more noise then I expected. I felt as I had to yell out my order to the waiter. I would say it not a place I would be dying to go back. I would be willing to give it another go on another day.
