Went for a long overdue but quick bite to eat and a drink without kids. Made a quick reservation for 7:45, knowing nothing about this place except that it was close and we have never been there. We love to check out new places and rarely get a chance to get out for a date. Upon checking in, the ambiance was nice: great decorations, busy, a stage in front of the main dining room. There were a few open tables for two in the main room, but we were placed in a side room with a few tables. It makes you feel isolated and away from the restaurant in that area. Completely different vibe: bright and white vs. dark and romantic. I asked about being in the main area like the group ahead of me who didn't have reservations and was told that they were friends: whatever that meant. We then waited for our server to bring drinks, which took literally 30+ minutes. They didn't even come together, they came at different times. We then made it known that we didn't have much time and would like to order food. When the food came, it also came at different times from a different server who placed one of the plates on the table next to us of four. When the other plate came, our server noticed the plate on the wrong table and gave it to us since they didn't touch it. Mind you, it was noticed that this type of issue was occurring to another table in that tiny room as the servers seemed confused as to where food was supposed to be going. We ordered Flatbread, which was good. The drinks were well made. To top off the night, our bill included an "Entertainment Fee" of $20. When asked about it, they stated that there was a sign outside, which I distinctly recall it stating a fee from 8-11pm. What happened to the bouncer at the front collecting money at the door? Had I known that I was going to be charged for being there after 8, it would have swayed my decision to go somewhere else. I find it very deceptive that they just throw a fee on the check for being there. Then, they tried to compensate by giving me back $10. I complained further that I felt duped, and they then gave back the whole $20. It came out of a guys pocket with long hair. Upon leaving and saying thank you, he just stared at us and...
Read moreWent for Mother's Day brunch ($60/person) it was not worth it! For starters, they brought out one cinnamon roll on a plate that we evidently had to share with each other. There was a basic buffet your typical scrambled eggs, French toast, biscuits and gravy from what I understand it was the first time they ever made that dish. Prime rib was ice cold. They served chicken tenders, I can go any restaurant and get chicken tenders. They also had mashed potatoes with gravy I did not try, but they did have green beans and what was supposed to be fettuccine alfredo. There was a garden salad and fruit, and a few small desserts but you wouldn't know it was there along with the coffee tea which was on the bar and our server never said anything. Our server barely paid any attention to us When we arrived there was only one other table so it wasn't as if the place had gotten crowded yet it didn't get crowded until after 11:00 a.m. I was incredibly disappointed by the whole experience and for what they charged and added a 20% gratuity (maybe that's why the service was terrible she already knew she was getting her tip) it was not worth it. This was my first time going and I can tell you I probably will not...
Read moreNice place, stopped in for dinner, Menu has a good selection. I was disappointed with my cocktail; I ordered a sidecar martini, which was way too sour and unbalanced, and served with shaved ice. The drink looked great, but was not good, and was way overpriced at $22.00 dollars. I had the skirt steak, and side salad, with rice. The steak was cooked good and was tender but lacked flavor. The entertainment was nice, and everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves. Overall, not too bad, but they need to improve on the cocktails. They have a nice Top Shelf selection but lack professional mixologists. They have a large selection of wine, and a separate seating (VIP) section called the Bin Club. Was also disappointed that the waitress didn't bother to wrap my wife's leftovers, she just brought us a plastic container to wrap ourselves, and no takeout bag. They have free valet parking, which is nice, but again, the valet just took my tip, handed me the key, and turned away, not opening the door for my wife to get in. The place needs to understand service. I will go back again and see if the service has improved. For now, I would give it an OK rating. Not bad,...
