This review is specifically for the rage room, which seems like an afterthought part of the business plan that clearly put all of the thought and effort into the axe throwing part. This was a downright embarrassing experience.

All of the photos/videos I’ve ever seen of rage rooms include lots of space and lots of breakables. We were directed into a small room that was wall to wall BROKEN GARBAGE with a tiny space for us to “rage”. See photos. We were instructed to put our purses into a clear bucket (not covered). More on that later. We were given “garage men” jump suits, the choice between goggles or a face shield and gloves. The gloves all had holes in them. Glass fell out when I removed my gloves. Nothing protected the tops of our head from glass shards going EVERYWHERE when you take a baseball bat to a wine bottle… in the smallest space! There is no protective footwear provided so you go in with whatever you’re wearing. I got a giant chunk of a green wine bottle wedged in the sole of my gym shoe. I actually had to borrow a wine corker from the front desk to wedge it out! The bottoms of your shoes will have little bits of glass stuck-not the best for walking into your house afterwards.

The staff was friendly and provided us with 2 TVs and 2 boxes of wine bottles. It’sBYOB= bring your own breakables so I brought my Precious Moments collection. There was nothing for us to smash aside from the wine bottles they got from Cooper’s hawk -I’m glad we brought our own breakables! But even then, that 30 minutes was almost too much time. There wasn’t enough “stuff” to break.

Since there was hardly any space, once we started breaking things, there was glass EVERYWHERE in the area we had to stand. Besides the shard of glass in my shoe, it was slippery walking over all that glass. Also, when we grabbed our purses to leave, wee red each had to shake off glass from the wine bottles! Our stuff was in an uncovered bucket and not protected!!

It seems that the rage room has never been cleaned since it has opened- the entire floor of the room is covered in broken glass, TVs and other broken things. There’s also several empty wine boxes just thrown everywhere.$50/person for 30 minutes in an unsafe room with “free” Coopers Hawk (across the street) wine bottles to smash?...

Came around noon on a Sunday for the Rage Room and axe throwing. I'm not sure if it was the day/time that I came but there weren't many if any people there which was nice. I booked 30 minutes at the Rage Room and 30 minutes of axe throwing. The Rage Room was quite the fun experience! You're given goggles and gloves and presented with the option of wearing a jumpsuit as well. If you don't want to wear a jumpsuit just make sure that you're wearing long sleeved clothing and pants. I'd also recommend wearing shoes with thick soles. There's a variety of different tools you can use in the room from sledge hammers to crow bars. You can even hook your phone up to their bluetooth speaker and play your own music while there. So I put on some Paramore and then went to town 😆 I had a lot of different objects they gave me to destroy and it's almost like a whole body workout so the 30 minutes worth of time for just myself was plenty. I did axe throwing afterwards which was also quite the fun time. You could order drinks if you wanted to and one of the staff members checked on me at one point and gave me some tips as I had a rough start lol. Tips for my other tiny peeps, make sure you're putting your shoulder into your axe throws. There were other styles of axes that you could rent if you so desired. What was interesting about axe throwing at this location was that for each lane, there are two targets so if you come with other people, you can throw your axes at the same time. The place is located in downtown Burr Ridge so just make sure to plan your parking ahead of time. But overall had a great time here and would definitely come back with friends/family for...

This review is specifically for the rage room, we did not do axe throwing. It was a very disappointing experience. The rage room has clearly never been cleaned since it has opened. The whole floor of the room is covered in mostly broken glass and other broken things. There is nothing on their website or in the materials they email to you saying to bring boots nor do they provide boots to you. I wore flats and felt very unsafe trying to walk over the floor/debris. The bottoms of your shoes will have little bits of glass on them. They do provide jump suits, goggle and gloves which is nice, but I think every pair of available gloves had holes in them. There was almost nothing for us to smash either aside from a few glasses, a glass bowl and wine bottles they got from coopers hawk. Everything else had all already been destroyed previously and they don’t seem to have a supply of new stuff. The room itself was also in poor condition with many holes in the walls where other people decided to destroy the room. It was incredibly over priced for the experience. Like I said we didn’t do the axe throwing but we came on a Friday night and it was empty, so it doesn’t seem like that’s very...
