Where do I begin? Menu is something, I guess; however they are apparently the only breakfast place ever to exist that does not serve biscuits and gravy. As someone else on here has already stated the waitress was fairly rude and very inattentive- but I personally can’t play the race card, because I’m White and so I was the waitress. So I don’t think racism was an issue for my experience (plus we parked out back and could hear the mariachi music blaring from the open kitchen door 🤣). When I expressed shock about the lack of B&Gs at a breakfast spot the rude old waitress said they were “wasteful to make” because allegedly not enough people order them and then went on to blame me for not coming often enough 🙄 The food is extremely mediocre (low quality, processed food ingredients, seed oils) and they undercooked my girlfriends eggs Benedict.. they were slimy and disgusting, she ended up throwing half away. When we were done, the rude waitress didn’t even offer any to-go containers (not like we would have wanted to take that awful slop home with us) and to top it all off after reviewing statement charges and doing some simple math it appears the girl at the register must have overcharged me (she punched in the tip and handle the entire transaction, I could not see the screen on the card machine, nor was I given a receipt)
All in all this place is horrible, so much so I felt it was necessary for make my first review ever to let others know. Stay away from this place at all costs, it’s NOT the same restaurant it was 5-6 years ago. I learned that...
Read moreWe got a waitress I haven't seen before and she seemed to forget about us a few times. it was not busy yet at 9 am when we got there and nobody gave us coffee until about 10-15 minutes after we were seated.
Then we got our order in and people who came after us were finished eating before we got our food. My mom and sister's food was cold by the time they got it. My food was warm so I can't complain on my end 😆 I dunno if they made mine later or what happened that theirs would be a different temperature than mine. I guess ideally they should have served my fam and gotten my stuff later. And it was another waitress that served the food for whatever reason.
The prices are also a bit high. And the coffee tasted watered down. Overall, we've been here maybe 10-20 times but this time was the worst.
Other waitresses also used to offer take out containers for the unfinished coffee as well and it wasn't watered down.
Lastly, not a complaint, but I also wish they had hash browns instead of just cut potatoes but that's nothing that merits criticism, I just figured I may as well say everything I can think of. 😛
We will try another...
Read morePatti's Sunrise Café is a quaint brunch diner in the area. We went here around noon on a Sunday, and were promptly seated. After placing our orders, we received our food about 20 minutes later. Aside from ordering and delivering our food, our waitress was never seen until we flagged her down for the check. The food itself was fairly bland, but it did come out piping hot. My california panini was very crunchy on the outside, and mushy on the inside, the avocados on it were quite overripe. The fries that accompanied it were seemingly unsalted, and very dry. The omelette that my associate ordered was hot, but once again bland. The breakfast potatoes that came with it were not evenlh cooked, with some sides of them being extra crispy, to practically being raw on others. The pancakes, which are claimed as the restaurant's specialty, lacked any uniqueness. They were standard diner pancakes. Overall, with each meal costing around 15 dollars, we cannot recommend this place over others, and will not be coming back ourselves. On the bright side, they did leave us with a water pitcher on the table, which is something we wish more...
