Our last morning on the island before getting on the ferry, we came here. The s’mores poppie and lilac latte were incredible, and that’s an understatement. The breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito we had were just okay, nothing to write home about. Service was really nice in the shop. We loved this spot and wished we’d gotten it in at least one more time on this trip. :)
We bought several of the merch/gift items they had available for purchase, over $100 worth on top of the food and drinks we’d tried. This trip to the island was to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary, and my husband actually didn’t want anything to take home until a hat we found here at this cafe. Somehow we didn’t actually have it when we were going through our things maybe an hour later, and I called the shop to request if I could buy another and pay whatever they wanted for shipping it to us. I got a text not long after that, just saying they don’t offer shipping. So that was a real bummer. I felt so bad, that hat was the only thing my husband wanted...
Read moreA ABSOLUTE MUST VISIT ON THE ISLAND!!! trust me. You. Need. To. Go. The food is INCREDIBLE. You can tell it’s made with so much love. Pro-Tip: go early for the homemade pop tarts. This is what they’re known for! I went afternoon, and by the time I left they were completely sold out of the pop tarts. But everything is worth trying. We had the breakfast burrito and the monet- excellent. And you HAVE to try the Lilac Latte. Honestly one of the best drinks I’ve ever had- even my husband that doesn’t like coffee thought it was delicious. So unique. And don’t forget to draw something and hang it up. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Kate, the owner, is so sweet and offers watercolor painting classes! I wish I could have taken one- but if you’re able to, they seem wonderful!!! And the view is impeccable from the cafe. Again, can’t say enough great things. You won’t...
Read moreWhat an amazing cafe! Located on the water, you can get amazing sandwiches, salads, wraps, smoothies and baked goods - and they accommodate with gluten free bread, wraps, and muffins, making it a wonderful place for those with gluten allergies. I enjoyed the Monet sandwich on gf bread today, which was turkey, brie spread, fig jam, spinach ans mustard. It is a warmed/grilled sandwich and it was amazing. The flavor combination was perfection. My husband had the Chipotle turkey and also gave it a rave review. My friends had the chicken salad which had a great blend of cranberries and walnuts (I think it was walnuts), cinnamon roll and a cherry poppie. They LOVED everything. I shared a gf blueberry muffin with my husband and it was soft and tasty! The little café is so cute too. Highly recommend this place for a...
