First and foremost I purchased a 97$ bouquet for Motherās Day online. When I picked up the bouquet it indeed didnāt look anything like the photo online that I ordered. Due to the time crunch for Motherās Day I accepted said the flowers. Already having a few of the filler flowers dying we trimmed them up so we could give the bouquet on Saturday am due to the unhealthy look of the flowers so my spouse could go ahead and care for them as she always does. Iāve purchased many 25-30$ bouquets from Kroger that sheās been able to keep alive for 5-6 weeks every time without any issues in our home. However this case within 6 days these flowers were mostly all dead already. Unhappy I contacted the shop and was offered merely a 20% refund. Was told maybe if I brought them in they could work something else out. I drive the 30 minutes over to the shop to only be told the same thing and basically told itās our environment that killed them. I asked to speak to the manager which approached me very rudely instantly. He tells me all flowers lifespans are different and I responded with I understand that but a week? I then said āweāve had flowers from Krogerā before I could finish the manager throws his hands up in the air and says oh no you lost me right there with Kroger and said I could take my flowers and leave. He wasnāt being compared to Kroger. To say Iām highly disappointed in Lawerence Meyer is a understatement. This is poor management and also a poor excuse for floral arrangements to be dead within a week while being cared for as weāve always done. Here is the pictures of what it was supposed to be and then what I received and then the results of the flowers after six days. I wouldnāt suggest purchasing from them at all. As now he is insinuating I threatened him. I far from threatened anyone. I told you to come back and talk. You were the one whom threw your hands up in the air and started walking off acting as if you were two years old. Absolutely the most unprofessional person of management Iāve ever met. Also let me correct you. You didnāt offer any dozen of roses. Donāt sit here and try and make yourself out now to have offered more than what you did. Only offered a 20 percent refund. Donāt worry Iāll never purchase from your place of business again. You are very rude and unprofessional. By the way your welcome for the 97$ and the flowers I gave back to you since you canāt be a good...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWow..š¤ it suprised me to see even one negative review on the florist my husbands used for more than 31 years now. Three months after we were married in 1987, my husband had a beautiful bouquet of roses sent to me at work. I do believe that's the day that was I understood the word "haters" ha! Here's my OwN opinion.. I've never been more happy and pleased with any other florist. in fact I laugh at people that tell me they think "flowers are just a waste of money." (??!!??hmm for real??!??)š Obviously they've NeVeR ordered from Lawrence Mayer because all my flowers from Lawrence Mayer have been known to last up to 3-4weeks at a time !( well until the next occasion!" Lol!) I recall a coworker in 87 who called Lawrence Mayers that first time I received them. She wanted to know the name of the milticolored roses. I recall she was told those particular roses came from So America! No DOUBT Lawrence Mayer doesn't deal with your "typical run-of-the-mill flowers" that's for sure. YoU really get what you pay for! We are all human and to err is human, and I'm sorry for the person who was upset and didn't give Lawrence Mayer the courtesy of a call, and I can say this because in 31 yrs of my husband ordering their flowers, there has only been one case when I wasnt satisfied bc the petals started falling within a couple of days. Lawrence Mayer stepped up to the plate and did what any small business owner with good character does! His staff went over and beyond the call to make sure I remained the happy customer I've been more than 30 yrs and counting! I just feel if people can take the time to give a bad review then people have the right to take time to give a 5 š view too! after all it's definitely worth it! I'm looking forward to coming in this week to order some beautiful flowers for my baby brother's birthday! (in fact I was checking out your flowers when I came across the negative comments but because I have always had such wonderful experiences I had to put my two cents worth in (or in this case may be a dime??!š) lol So Thank you Lawrence Mayer for your service in making muselfmand Im sure many others Very Happy and most of all Satisfied customers!š ALSO.. KUDOS to you for speaking in your defense, especially when you KnoW yall Rock...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI know that this florist has been around for years and my up most respect as a business until today. I place an order and immediately get a phone call that you would not be delivering my order on Feb. 14th because it was too far away to deliver. The delivery address is 7 miles from your business. What poor customer service, but I assume with the prices you charge you pick and choose what you are going to deliver. The lady stated that she could put pick up in store on the arrangement. I work out of town, so that is why I depend on ordering online because I can't come and pick it up. I know none of this makes any difference to you but I will definitely never use your business again and will also spread the word around about this.
Response to Owner: Mr. Mayer, I don't intend to argue with you any further about the situation but wanted to respond to you since you felt it necessary to respond to me acting as though I had requested a delivery that was not in your delivery area. As I pointed out to your clerk, the address is Dry Branch but the business is within Macon Bibb County. I also pointed out that the location is only 7 miles from your business in my review. I also received a voicemail from your manager shortly after my review saying that the clerk that had called me did not realize that this location was in your delivery area (even though I told her) and that if I had not found somewhere else to call back and your company would deliver to the location. I also would like to point out that your clerk had told me that your business would only be making deliveries in downtown close to your location and no where else. I stand by my statement that this is poor customer service. Apparently there also may be a communication problem between you and your employees since you responded that the location was not in your delivery area. There is definitely a discrepancy in what your clerk said, your manager said, and...
