Went in last night with my family for some after dinner treats. There was a LONG line and the girl behind the counter was doing her very best to keep a smile on her face and keep assisting people as the line grew longer and longer. I found it odd that they only had one person scheduled to work on a Friday night in spring. After we finally got helped, I realized there was a second employee in the store, but she was too busy sitting and chatting with a customer to come help the GROWING line. Multiple times she looked up to see the line and would shrug and go back to chatting. I felt so bad for the employee behind the counter helping customers, she clearly was getting frazzled and the customers were clearly getting upset at the time they were waiting to be helped.
It really was an unfortunate experience because I like to support local businesses and I have frequented the Chocolate Shop on the West...
Read moreCame in here august 25th 2021 and they kick us out because we don’t have a mask. Yet provided no masks and said we could buy one somewhere else . My favorite ice cream place no longer getting my business . Went into knuckleheads and they didn’t require masks but gave us free masks and even EXTRA masks when we told them what happened . I’m not against wearing masks but if you can’t even provide masks and just kick your customers out you’re doing it wrong. Not like they couldn’t prepare for this and no one else is requiring them so maybe you should provide them
Edit: after reviewing they did reach out and say that they not offer masks and were going to look into training employees on how to handle the situation . I was pleased by that although I should’ve added this months ago honestly but better Late than...
Read moreShowed up last night August 6th, 10 minutes before closing time the kid mopping the floor was not courteous enough to open the door to explain why they closed early. Just said, we are closed and turned around. I told him (through signs) that it wasn't time yet and he just turned around and in a disrespectful way he just said "closed" and again turned around in a rude way.
If the hours are incorrect in Google, change them accordingly so we are not sprinting through the city trying to make it. Also, teaching your young staff good manners should be a given.
Lastly, it would have not cost your establishment anything to open the door and acknowledge the customers, specially since it's before...
