Took a ride out to Madison from Milwaukee one weekend last summer and decided to stop in Freedom Skate Shop to grab some new wheels for two of my decks. I didn't have my tools with me so I asked the clerk to swap out my old wheels for the new ones. He gave me an extra helping of attitude and took his sweet time to fulfill my request. It seems chatting with buddies who were hanging out in the shop was more important that helping a customer. Not a huge deal, however I noticed later after getting home and riding the new wheels that this kid put different wheels than I asked for on my board! I needed a set of wheels with traction for a commuting board and he basically gave me a set of what I already had. I spent nearly $100 here and this how a customer gets treated? Looking forward to the next shop deck so I can pick one...

He didn’t have any shop graphic decks available, but didn’t hesitate to offer to print one up for me if I had time to wait. Picked up a shop graphic deck, shop sweatshirt and some stickers. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for any skating needs. If you’ve been around skating a while, make sure to go check out the vhs tapes, thrasher mags, and transworld mags. So much nostalgia on...
