2nd bad experience in a row, not a fluke this location is poorly managed and employees are poorly trained. DANGEROUSLY unsanitary practice by employee(read below). Placed an order online for pickup. Ready time 5:45. On my way, I actually called the restaurant to ask if I can pickup in the drive thru and to make sure my order would be ready (again last time had bad experience with wait). They said yes. Show up, several car backup in the drive thru so i went inside. Few people waiting, no one would even acknowledge I was there. I have to raise my voice to get someone's attention. They said my order wasn't ready but they were working on it. I told them I would come back (had to drop friend off). Returned 15 minutes later (time now 6:15). Again, no one acknowledged me. I had to raise my voice again. They said they were putting my order together so I stood, waited and watched. I watch them service walk ins and fill their orders. After 20 minutes of waiting and watching I raised my voice again. The server went to look for my order and then said he was waiting on teriyaki chicken and it would be another 10-15 minutes. Seriously????? All the while I watched the cashier handle cash and then go back to the food serving station and handle plates, boxes and food WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS OR WEARING GLOVES! Do they realize what we are going through as a nation? I then demanded a refund. No way was I eating anything out of this place. They couldn't even figure out how to do a refund since I was an online order. Look, in this day and age you can't take a chance on inept, unqualified unsanitary people in the food industry no matter how cheap the labor is. I took a video of the service here and if it got into the hands of the authorities, they would be immediately shut this place down. MANAGEMENT take note, get this fixed ASAP. Never again will I come here. Shouldn't take a customer to notice how incredibly bad this place is run. Where is the manager / district manager? Who is running this place? Anyone watching what is going on here? No joke, we are dealing with public health...

Dear Panda Express Team,
I am writing to share a very disappointing experience I had at your Niles location. I placed an order through the drive-through, and the attendant kindly asked me to pull over and park in front, assuring me that someone would bring the food shortly. I patiently waited for 25 minutes, but no one came out.
I then went inside with my receipt to inquire about the delay. There was a line at the register, so I waited. When I finally approached the register, the lady there abruptly asked, “What do you want?” I politely explained that I had been waiting for my food outside. With a visibly rude attitude, she responded, “Our chef is on lunch. You have to wait, there are many others waiting too.”
Still calm, I walked over to the same person who initially took my order and asked if he could remove the shrimp that was causing the delay, so I could at least receive the rest of the food. To my surprise, he said the food was already ready and had been sitting there. He also mentioned that the same lady had already prepared it.
When I said this experience could have been handled better, the lady loudly told me to “get out of here,” which was extremely disrespectful and humiliating—especially in front of other customers.
I don’t know if she was the owner or just a staff member, but I’ve lived in Niles for over 35 years and have always been a loyal Panda Express customer, along with my family. To be treated in this way, after supporting your business for so long, was extremely disappointing.
If the woman was the owner, I wish her luck in her business and sincerely hope no other customer has to face such treatment. And if she was an employee, I hope she reflects on how she treats others. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope this feedback leads to better service and...
Read moreI had a terrible experience today at this location. I work right next next door and we (employees here) order from them all the time because it's so convenient. I've never had any issues before, even throughout this current situation and all the new rules food places have to follow. Until today we had ordered either online or by phone and picked up at the door. I called today to order by phone because online they don't have an option for pick up instructions. I specified I work next door and it's easier to just walk over and pick up my food, instead of crossing Milwaukee to get my car and go through the drive thru. The girl on the phone tried to get me to go in the drive thru but after i explained she said ok and hung up. When I got to the door, after a couple of mins of being seen she asked from behind the counter whose name the order was under, I answered and thought she would bring my food. She finally walked over to the door just to tell me I had to walk around and go through the drive thru to get my food! she was very apologetic but wouldn't budge. I should have spoken to the manager at that point since I was already wasting my lunch time, but decided to try standing in line with the cars. I ended up leaving and ordering Panera instead. they even have a doorbell to ring when you arrive to pick up at their door! I didn't feel safe or warm for that matter waiting amongst the cars to walk up to a drive thru window. I don't understand why they can't just bring your order to the door if you're not in a car! doesn't make sense. Brian the manager is a nice guy but he's definetly dropping the ball here and losing customers due to these ridiculous rules. I give 2 stars instead of 1 because their food and service are actually decent and for this I will miss them...but I am no...
