Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Maine Township

I give 2 stars because any other time I come to this location I receive great service. Today two young ladies were at the counter, chatting, and not doing much. You shouldnt give a customer subpar service because they interrupted your oh so juicy conversation about coworkers or so and so's boyfriend. I felt as though my order was rushed. I ordered my drink and I had more to order. I have worked in food before- you ask if that completes your order before you keep trying to interrupt the customer in the middle of a sentence to give a total. You also don't talk about the customer with them standing right by you as if they are deaf. If you dont want people to inconvenience you by coming to you for a service, like getting food or drinks, then food is not the correct industry for...

A white female staff was not willing to hi and thank you to any customer of color. Yet when a white customer came, she was smiling and said aloud, "Good morning!" "Is there anything else that you need?" I felt aweful and disgusted when I saw the change of customer services according to color of people. I didn't pay same money and tax to be treated differently. This is the area which has a lot of immigrant and people of color population. The white staff of the Starbuck must change her attitude as a service person or need to find other job. I was in there on 9/28 and got nothing but attitude from 1 employee. I felt bad for the other employee that was there she actually help me more then the original employee. The original employee ignored me then when I questioned my total she printed off the balance on my gold card then went back to making my drinks.
