So I decided to go to here through and I was not even greeted at the window. I am s people persons and also has worked for the fast food industry a few times in my life and even as a teenager back then I still took my job seriously. I get to the window I speak not even a hello back just the total is .... I'm looking like rude no hello back. I order 2 number 4's with no pickle add lettuce and tomato and instead of pop for the drinks I rather have two shakes instead. After grabbing my food before pulling off I told the gentlemen have a blessed day and still was rude didn't say anything. Now after getting home paying for the high cost of how much that food was just to get home and see that my Burgers did not even have the letters and tomatoes on it like I asked. Now remind you I don't even live in Rosemount I live all the way in Northlake. So to drive all the way to another suburb to get food and they are rudeand mess your order up is acceptable. So fast forward to a few days later I drive out there again to grab food and lord behold the same young man in the drive through I order a number 4 again with a shake instead of a pop. When I get to the window he doesn't greet as usual then he passed me my shake first and as the light hit the cup I can see where the shake is filled up to, so im looking at the shadow of the shake amount and open the top. The shack was not filled up at all. It was a alost an inch of quarter missing. I told him where is the rest of my shake. The young man told me that's how much comes out when you press the button it pre set. I said how much the shakes cost how you figure you suppose to short change your customers. I told him there's no way you gonna charge what you charge and short change me on my shack so I told him refunded me my money I don't want anything that's a rip off. So from a business point being that i use to work in fast food chains and in customer service and hospitality. I would have filled the customer shake up as should have been and apologize about with a smile and told them to have a great day then to lose money on a refund over the person Shake not being properly filled up as it should and now have a order that I can't give to nobody else so now the company lose that money and also wasted food which could have been avoided makes no sense. So I can truly say I won't be back because that's not how you treat your customers by short changing them and I don't know if all the staff members are like that but that's particular staff member the young man at the drive-thru need to be retrained to deal...
Read moreMan this franchise has seen better days. It's one of the only franchises that still keeps up the diner fascade, but you can tell from the rusted furniture, broke tiles, etc. that they haven't done much remodeling. Atleast this one's floors aren't covered in filth and it doesn't have cobwebs on the tables. They pretty much force everyone to use the kiosks to order since there's no menu on the wall nor anyone really working a register. I ordered a butter steakburger with a small fry which came out to be a little over $5 with tax. The food itself was ready in a few minutes. The shoestring fries are instantly recognizable. Upon opening the burger I immediately had flashbacks of my past experience at a Steak and Shake years ago where I coincidentally ordered the same thing. The butter steakburger on the menu has a different bun, but they serve it on a regular bun. With my first bite I received a mouthful of butter which confirmed it was indeed a butter steakburger. The onions for whatever reason are ridiculously strong. A few bites in and you realize you're gonna need breath mints. It's an above average burger, but the seemingly stale bread was off putting.
I wouldn't mind trying things out again, but you can definitely tell they stopped caring about the dine-in experience a long time. It's nothing like the hustle and bustle in the commercials of yesteryear. Everything seemed cold, robotic and it was pretty much a ghost town when I was there. However, you do get good deals...
Read moreLady helping was super slow and rude. They never put my add ons (pickles and onion is it lmao) on my food and I live a bit away as there is only a few steak n shakes. By the time I get home and see my food is improperly made I don’t want to drive all the way back and waste my time. More often then not servers are extremely rude and can’t handle doing basic functions. There’s only ever been one nice employee which was a young gentlemen couldn’t have been more then 20 with long hair black hair; shout out to him for being able to do his job!! Everyone else is horrible and gives horrible service. Especially that manager cocky as all and doesn’t care about the member service just getting members out of the drive through to improve their times. I understand it’s a lame job with bad pay but you are there to do that job I don’t care about how much you make! Should be able to do basic functions !!!! I have no empathy I have worked in this exact same business and never once acted in such a manner. You’re there to do a job so do it! In addition my sandwich had noodles on it I understand you sell multiple things but that is a safety hazard-what if I had been allergic? Do better be better. P.s I have never in my life left a bad review usually I just sweep it off as I can empathize and understand their position but EVERY SINGLE TIME I’ve come in the last 2/3 months they have made my order wrong and that’s...
