As a near 59 year old I don't eat a whole lot of fast food anymore but about a week ago I decided to try the Wendy's new Breakfast Baconator after hearing about it and giving into temptation. Over the decades I have eaten all of the various fast food breakfast sandwich offerings, whether served in an English Muffin, on a biscuit or croissant, between pancakes or in a wrap of some sort. I've had them toasted and not toasted, on a stick, etc. Hopefully I have covered all of the bases.
Anyway I was just a bit reluctant because I couldn't imagine having a breakfast sandwich on a hamburger bun. The thing is, I love the Brioche bun with a hamburger but this just seemed a little bit odd to me. It's not! In fact it's just excellent. This sandwich has become the BEST of breakfast sandwiches in my view. The cheese was plentiful and fully melted, the bacon was absolutely on-point. It was crispy and the flavor of it was outstanding. The sausage patty was perfectly cooked and seasoned and it does look just like their signature burgers look. And then there is that cheese sauce, OMG it's just so good! This is a very tasty sandwich and along with a cup of coffee and those seasoned potatoes it makes a substantial meal. Or two!
No I won't be eating more fast food due to this creation but I will have it again for sure and I would recommend to anyone who happened to ask me about it. ...

I recommend, if you want something quick. (There is a McD right up Milwaukee) $4 meals are one of the best deals in food that include drink. Those alone would make me return. (Burger+fries+4 nuggets+sm. drink) And the burger is decent size too, not like a little slider.
Service was fast. (They got it right) People are probably referring to the older gentleman who takes your order. Not the warmest person. And behind plexiglass he can hardly hear you, so you have to yell. (haha) But he was fast and he gave me plenty of napkins + ketchup, so I give him credit. Drink area could be cleaner. You serve your own drink. I actually prefer McDonald's way; where they serve you and block off the area. Just safer, than having customers touching everything; making all kinds of mess. I was going to knock off a star due to oversalted fries, but won't nitpick over a $4 meal. They were fast and the rest of the meal was fresh and well prepared, so they gained the star for quality.
No seating areas during restrictions, so you either have to eat in the car or by the storefronts, there are benches. (bus stops?)
I would return and try them again. With all the food in the mall gone, there just aren't enough fast food options in such a popular area. This...
Read moreI recently placed an order through the Wendy's app on March 20th around 3:00 p.m., selecting two of their "2 for $6" sandwich deals, expecting a total of four sandwiches. My order included one hamburger, one spicy chicken, and two classic chicken sandwiches, with one classic chicken upgraded to an asiago chicken sandwich by adding asiago cheese and bacon.
Unfortunately, when I received my order about 30 minutes later, the customized asiago chicken sandwich was missing. Hoping to resolve the issue, I called the store and spoke to a manager, only to be met with rudeness and belligerence. Despite my polite explanation, he repeatedly insisted that he had placed four sandwiches in my bag, implying that I was lying.
In light of this experience, I feel compelled to advise fellow customers to be cautious when considering this Wendy's location. If you encounter any issues with your order, you may not receive the assistance and understanding you deserve. A food establishment should prioritize customer satisfaction, and sadly, this particular Wendy's seems to fall short in that regard. Due to this disappointing encounter, I am hesitant to return to this location...
