Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Manchester

Walked in to no acknowledgment. No heys or hello’s or welcome to chilis…You could tell the servers didn’t want to greet us. Then when the server did see us you could tell she was hesitant to greet us. Like she was waiting for one of the others ones to beat her to it. Instead when she tried to weasel her way out of seating us, then ensued a highly inappropriate conversation between the other ladies who all told our server that they had taken multiple tables in & it was “her turn”. She rolled her eyes & obliged then told us she’d have to put 2 tables together or two booths. We took the booths. After taking our drink order we realized the tables were wobbling with excitement. We couldn’t keep our drinks safely on the tables. So we moved to another booth. Table was worse. We moved again. Let’s not forget my husband & myself had our six kids, we moved all our drinks, utensils, appetizers by ourselves, TWICE! When we got our appetizer it’s missing and extra order of egg rolls. My husband & I ordered watermelon margaritas & only got one, the other was plain. Then the kids get their food & the server tells my daughter I know you wanted corn but you got fries. Mind you this wasn’t even our original server, just the guy bringing out the food. I watched our server mindlessly tap her fingers in boredom. If doing the bare minimum was a person, it was definitely our server. Honestly not the worst experience I’ve had. Just the character of this establishment. Overall all the food wasn’t hot. Not good. Where to start. Given a table with a failing lightbulb making it harrd to even read a menu. Ordered a sam adams lager a beer i am quite familier with but what i recieved tasted nothing like what i know sams to taste like. The food took a long time to arrive and when it did my entree was incorrect. The server at first claimed i was wrong only to go check and she came back saying my plate had gone to another table. I opted to keep it because the service had taken so long and rest of our parties meals had arrived also i did not wish to make anyone feel obligated to wait even longer. However after cutting in the food was completely undercooked, the server took it back. I expected them to simply cook me what i asked for to begin with however they simply microwaved the same wrong order. The manager never once came to the table or did their job. The server did tell me the manager would adjust the bill so i would pay for the less expensive incorrect entree .....so that is actually doing nothing as indid not get what i ordered i could not be billed for it. I said that since i would not be eating the reheated wrong meal i would not be paying for it. .....she had to check with the still invisible manager but eventually it was removed from the bill. Just really unpleasent. I also noticed quite a few younger looking patrons ordering at the bar and having drinks brought without a single id checked. No wonder they don't care about quality they don't need happy diners when they serve anyone no id required. I will...

Absolutely will never go here again. I shouldve left as soon as I saw the bathroom, but my kids really wanted Chilis. I've been to countless chilis with my family and have never been to a more disgusting one, as this one. We arrived about 1pm and by then it's still early enough that the bathrooms should be descent. I understand a high traffic commercial area will have a possibly messy bathroom later in the day, but I think 1pm is still early enough. The bathroom had pee all over the floor and smelled terrible. Employees here obviously do not care. The floor surrounding our table was sticky and greasy. I mean this place was disgusting and a health inspector should absolutely pay a visit to this place ASAP! I'm truly disgusted! The food was NOTHING to ride home about. Over priced not at all hot. It seemed like it was nuked in the microwave. I had a feeling it was not going to be a good visit and I shouldve went with my gut. $40 i totally could've spent at Burger King or Dairy queen and would've had a better meal!

Now let's talk about the service..... HORRIBLE!!!! Minimum tip was still given, but I can't even believe their customer service skills are so far BELOW par! They're not at all personable. Completely and totally, 99% of them HATE THEIR JOB. They should CLEAN HOUSE!! LITERALLY!!! Not once did our server even bring refills. I was dying of thirst from the over cooked fajita chicken/steak! Seriously, THE. MOST. TERRIBLE. CHILIS. EVERRRRR!!!! DON'T BOTHER....
