POKE DON — Restaurant in Manchester

So happy to have a place on Deming that isn't just sandwiches or burgers! I have eaten there twice now, once I got it myself and another I ordered online. Both times I chose to make my own poke bowl, which works similarly to how you would order a burrito bowl from Chipotle or Moe's. I also tried some of the appetizer options.

The staff are friendly and personable, and it has a clean atmosphere.

The fish and produce are so fresh and make for a tasty, healthy poke bowl. We have one or two good sushi options around Manchester, but it is exciting to have a nice, clean, new option for fresh, raw sushi salmon and tuna that is a good lunch price, too. If you're not into fish, there are other options like cooked chicken and beef, but I have not tried them yet!

Appetizers were fair enough, I enjoyed the "sweet sesame dough" which are fried sesame-crusted dough balls with red bean paste in the center. They were piping hot and nice for these cold New England days.

I'm looking forward to trying a chicken or beef Donburi bowl next time, which will surely be a treat.

I certainly hope this place has a long and successful future ahead in the Manchester location. It gives us some much-needed, healthy, delicious...

I ordered food today the guy that served the food was very unsanitary. Gloves all dirty and when he served my food his sweat drip on my food. He seems like not interested serving costumers or do his job. He served my food twice. The first instances didn't mind about it, but today its so disgusting and his sweat drip on my food. I was gonna say something but the crowd got so busy didn't want to yell at him or embarrass him. I ordered 2 drinks one Matcha with tapioca and one Taro with tapioca but the taro was only milk and tapioca. it was tasteless just plain milk. Once i got home i did not eat my food cuz so disgusting thinking about his dirty gloves and sweat. Super disgusting. If i encounter this over and over again i will have to report this issues or problem to the Health Department. Whoever owns this Pokedon should talk to their employees to change gloves often while serving food or no...

I LOVE the food here ... always fresh and definitely worth the price. I could eat the food here daily it's THAT good! I order regularly using Door Dash or picking up take out. Yesterday I placed my order online for pickup. After arriving at my destination, I discovered my order I received was wrong. I called and spoke to team member, Alice. She was friendly and accommodating. The manager was not available but Alice took my name/humber for a FREE bowl the next time I ordered. I appreciated that! Also, I ate the bowl - not what I would typically order - and it was so yummy! So I got to try another flavor combination. good! NOTE: In my previous review I mentioned the hard cilantro stems. I'm happy to report that this bowl had cilantro and did not include ONE stem! Keep up the great work...
