I am highly upset by the fact that Hobby Lobby does not have sku or item numbers to identify their products on a purchase receipt. This has led me to struggle with a return in store for a product I purchased. My receipt had multiple other items that I was not returning. I was charged $27.99 for a $32.99 vase. The cashier processing refunds insisted the item I purchased was not on my receipt. After verifying that the cashier that cashed me out that night made a mistake, they said they would refund me the lowest priced item ($12) on my purchase. Since I didn't have every other item on my receipt with me, I couldn't prove that the item they are refunding me for was not the lowest priced item. At that point I said I no longer wanted a refund and would keep the item but cashier quickly processed my refund for $12 then said I had signed already (which I did not and told them to look at their cameras) and began arguing with me that I probably signed and didn't realize it. This is an extremely sketchy thing to do especially in a well known store like Hobby Lobby. I then asked them to reverse it and they called the store manager. I began to explain to the store manager how I wanted to return this item for price listed on my receipt $27.99 (the price on the actual vase was $32.99).I just wanted what I paid back. The manager said there is no way to know which item it is on the receipt. I said that's exaxtly my point, so is that my issue or the store's? She ended up canceling my refund, but there was no consolation for the customer (me) or apology for the cashiers yelling/arguing and lying about me signing. I am apalled and angry and will not be making purchases from this store anymore. How can Hobby Lobby not have item numbers on their receipt to match the product purchased? How can the company employees behave so rudely to a customer and not care whether what the customer is saying makes sense or not? I am extremely disgusted by this and will make sure I publish this review everywhere I can. You have to come up to speed with modern times Hobby Lobby, a simple item number and an apology would have...
Read moreIf I could I would give the staff 0 stars. I am giving it 2 stars because the store its self deserves 5 stars. First Hobby Lobby; So many choices, beautiful choices, the shelves full everything about the store its self was on point HOWEVER staff is a HUGE no go. I walked in for the first time and whether it's your first or 5th time if you ask the question "Hi, where can I find _?" The answer should not be "Oh that's on the other side of the store." Um ok? If your too lazy to show me and to do your job at-least tell me if its in the left corner right corner in the middle in the front etc. So my first interaction was absolutely unacceptable. SECONDLY no lights on for what register is open one line with about 6/7 people waiting mind you no light on, one women had been checking someone out at another register so I walked over to that one waited a few minutes while they where just chatting away to be told "Hey you have to go to the other line" okay so I picked up my things went to the other line for 10 minutes just to have the girl from the other register walk up to me and say " I know you were in my line you can come back" ok so I walked back. They do not honor any sale prices that they have. Paper was listed ALL paper 30% off nope she manually entered $1.99 fpr each sheet another item I wanted listed for sale $10 less then original price, again manually entered the full price. At this point I just said "I'm all set" and drove to Joann down the street were service is always exceptional. I will not be returning and do not recommend anyone to this store which is...
Read moreI purchased a frame from Hobby Lobby about a month ago and when I was setting it up for hanging, I noticed one of the prongs was beneath the glass towards the front of the frame resulting in the glass being lifted on one corner. I tried to lift the glass completely to fix it not realizing I missed one of the prongs and the glass cracked in half. I called the store to see what I could do since I had just spent about $35 on this frame (50% off sale that's still happening today) and the manager told me I can take it to the framing department to receive a new cut of glass free of charge. I go today and the attendant at the framing department tells me the complete opposite. I'll have to pay $40 for a new piece of glass. She states that once an item leaves the store, it's no longer their property. Obviously not, I'm not sure why that's relevant but whatever, I'm not going to argue with a teenager who clearly dislikes this conversation as much as I do. I ask her if she can take the frame off of my hands so I can just buy a new one since the sale is still happening. She says no because they "can't just throw the whole thing away" ?? Why not!? Whatever. I ended up just purchasing a piece of plexiglass per the attendants advice and called it a day. Had the manager just told me from the start that I'd have to pay for the glass, i would've thrown out the broken glass, left the heavy frame at home and acted...
