Overall Summary: *Great portions and fair value for money. Lots of rice/noodle, small veg, pleasantly happy with meat portion. (I ordered large dish for reference). *Excellent kitchen staff-for their communication amongst each other, care for food quality they put out, and overall taste *Young and inexperienced front of house behind register, sweet when you do speak with them just need to develop and better consciousness of handling items we directly eat/touch. *More communication and customer experience involvement needed by management, especially on a grand opening week. *Large portion is so worth it to divide into two lunch portions. *Mad sauce is SPICY and HOT, just fair warning as app does not explain!

Would eat here again as food and value for money was good, but I will need to better prepare and order more in advance, escpecially for pickup-and-go, and need to see improvement from the front of house.

Explanation: Walked in and took over 5 min to be greeted while I guessed where to go, ultimately stood by a pick up here sign awkwardly next to the cashier front counter . One associate ran the register and was not focused with anyone but whom was in front of her, yet clearly saw multiple people including myself walk in. The other rep behind the cashier desk had her back to customers for ten min while she struggled with small plastic cups. At one point she accidentally knocked the package which spilled out on the floor. No big deal, little accident. I watched her pick them up toss some but ultimately put the rest salvageable ones back together, fingers touching inside of the cups as she laid them across the table to fill without washing her hands or wearing gloves. She then refilled said cups with a large teriyaki condiment bag, lid them, and stack the completed ones to put in to-go orders while they sat in room out temperature. Please wear gloves or consistently wash hands while touching the inside of cups/ other things like this, especially if you bunch between order bagging and cashier.

While I waited, I observed a few other things;

The couple of customers sitting down whom were here ahead of me had to approach the cashier desk a couple of times asking if the food was ready or if their name was called while we all waited for the food prepped.

The communication amongst the kitchen staff was amazing-shouting 2 min timer!! Heard!, thermometer ready!! (ensuring proper cooking temps), “salmon coming up where are you” etc like any restaurant and line cook kitchen running smoothly, and I was thoroughly impressed with how well they functioned as a unit. They were the best part of my observation here.

The manager or possible franchise owner came out from the back halfway through my wait and greeted most everyone but me and a couple others who had already placed an order, as I waited on the side with the others. She would say “welcome to the madness, first time here” for new people walking in or approach customers who were already eating “what a cute baby how old?!” And other small talk but not once checked in with those whom had already placed orders. We made eye contact but Indont think she was comfortable addressing those waiting and watched her compliment staff members for “not pulling their cell phones out once” and other small talk of comparisons to other stores’ launches.

I am extremely patient with any establishment as working retail I completely understand all hurdles, kinks to work out, etc especially knowing this is a new opening week, and fully understand that although this is a franchise chain that this isn’t fast food and takes time to cook to order. I even can get over the 30+ min wait for a couple lunch meals again, giving my understanding of the factors. But to not have any communication in all the time I waited there, assurance my order was even on the list of being prepared, front cashier concerns, or management involvement for a check in let alone a hello, disappointed me. I would not walk in and order here I would only order ahead based on my...

This is our first time there, my family and i walked in and the cashier on 6/18/2024 a young dark skin girl was very nice and helpful explained everything to us. we ordered our food we had a junior, 2 regular and extra meat. the store was nice and clean well stocked. while we was waiting for our food one of the cooks yelled for no reason and everyone there was looking at him young light skin kid with hair to his ears and on the heavy not to heavy side (no one had on name tags) there was 3 boys and 2 girls there at the time. even the other cooks looked at him. then while the cashier was doing the uber orders and stocking the front the same kid turns around and scared the cashier by yelling at her to fill the sauces and napkins when she was doing that already. i hope that kid was not the shift leader or manager because he does not know how to talk to people the girl looked scare to even say anything. when getting our food the same kid forgot to add the steak to one of our orders then yells at the cashier to give the order back. when we got home to eat the chicken was grilled but burnt where it over powered the other food so i had to throw the chicken and extra chicken i bought away. my daughters steak was drown in sauce where the bottom of the bowl was covered in sauce which made her stomach hurt. the junior meal my other daughter said was good which was the orange chicken and noodles vegs. it will be the first and last time we go there unless my children want to give them a second chance. its sad because i was looking forward to eating there ever since i watch them remodel the place. the cashier service was excellent she the one i give...

Very disappointed with my visit here tonight!! Wow the portions and service have gone way downhill from when they first opened. The excuse of “sorry for the wait” and “we are currently training new staff” is getting old. The staff is more worried about their personal lives, holding conversations, and the music in the restaurant rather than actually doing some work. I ordered 2 large bowls both with spicy orange chicken and teriyaki steak, one with rice and the other all veggies… there were about 6 pieces of spicy orange chicken and 8 pieces of steak in both large bowls, the veggies were overdone, and the rice tasted like it was sitting for hours and was crunchy af so gross. I also ordered the crab rangoon which were pretty tasty but you can tell it’s freezer food for sure. Also, I received only 1 sauce of 6 pieces and was asked to pay for additional lol inflation can’t be that bad! Two large meals with double protein, 2 drinks and the 6 piece crab rangoon came to over $50, and let me tell you it was not worth it at all. I could’ve gone to the mall and gotten more food for half the price. Not to mention that you have pay an extra 50 cents for spicy orange chicken and $1 for veggies instead of rice. I won’t be returning to this location, I’ll maybe try the Enfield location if I’m around that area since reviews are...

Delicious food and great portions, a little long wait but definitely worth it! The crew is still learning so be patient if you’re coming in first few weeks! YOU MUST TRY THE CRAB RANGOONS Ok this is an update after about a month. DO NOT COME HERE AFTER 4pm. The night team can not get an order out in an under a hour. I’ve come twice a week since this placed open, and during lunch hours everyone is friendly and the food comes fast. After 4pm, it’s a complete different story. The young lady at the register didn’t even say a word to me when I walked in to order. Just stared at me blankly. Then comes the wait. People are getting so update waiting for so long, and the shift supervisor with the curly blonde hair should not be here. He refused to help this lady with a problem she was having. Just don’t come after 4.

I’ve been to this location (Manchester) only a couple times, and I’m already hooked. The food is great, and worth the price for the amount (which is something I care about when ordering food anywhere). The staff are so great, and I can just tell how hard they work to keep up with everything. They’re kind, patient, and knowledgeable of their products. The establishment is so clean, and I’ve had no negative customer service interactions. Though the advertising team for this company as a whole is very creative, and are able to make me laugh with their menu and other ads, I will continue to return to Teriyaki Madness because of their staff. To Maylee, Richie, Princess, you guys are much appreciated, thank you!
