Updated: I appreciate the way this was rectified. I was able to enter the store and make a purchase/use my coupon. Friendly staff, good bud.
A birthday email coupon offer got me to order here recently after a while of visiting another store. Unfortunately, I was denied service by management. I had just renewed my license on the CT DMV website and they did not accept my temporary ID. I presented my physical license that expired just four days ago, & on my phone the email receipt from the DMV w. receipt of my renewal and the temporary license the DMV provided me. Management denied it since the temporary ID did not include my picture. She stated AAA does take photos at renewal, but I had not renewed in person at AAA, I used the state of CT DMV website and they did not require me to take a new photo nor did they include the old photo on my temporary ID, just my details. It's unfortunate I will miss out on the coupon since it will expire before my new license is delivered by mail. Not sure what the disconnect with management is but surely this was a misstep that deserves reconsideration at least. I was a regular customer and still have several unused loyalty points in my account. I wish management was more receptive to the situation instead of providing a somewhat condescending response and turning me away. I remained cordial and luckily my fiance was with me and was able to make a purchase as a guest. We'll probably pass from coming here again though. Although I can understand, I did not agree with or appreciate how the situation...
Read moreIf your order is $24.54, and you have exact cash / change. It doesn't matter, they round up and you owe 46 cents more only because of a stupid policy. They will lose more money by losing customers over this policy than gain by ripping customers off because they are too lazy or incompetent to accept exact change or give change.
In response to owners reply:
I'm unsure if you can read. Your down the street competitor Curaleaf gives change/ accepts exact change. Are you accusing them of breaking the law or witchcraft? If they figured it out, so can you, hence why I said lazy and incompetent.
I have no idea what you mean about debit transactions as it had nothing to do with anything. My order total was $24.54, I had this in exact cash / change but I was still asked for $25 regardless.
I asked to see a manager about this in the past and the cashier refused while being rude as well. But are you saying a manager would've allowed me to only pay what I owed? How nice....
Your reply was all lies besides info about debit cards which was not relevant at all.
It's the principal, not the 46 cents and that adds...
Read moreGreat products, they dont disappoint but you guys really need to work on manners. An employee there was asking if i wanted to purchase any other product because I get discounted $10 off. I declined because I could only afford to spend under $50 that weekend. He went away from the register to point at the points system you guys had for discount right behind him and I still declined. Then he says to his co worker right next to him wish we had a large poster for people to see the discount and he said that right in front of me. Mfer I'm not blind, I can clearly see it. Just couldn't afford to buy more. That was extremely rude. If a person says no thank you, just leave it at that!!!! Maybe people could be on a budget and can't afford to spend more. Ever think of that? Fine Fettle sells good products, just would not come this location in Manchester the next time I wanna buy from you guys. Your...
