This was our first time at wing stop: We ordered wings (boneless and classic) in a variety of flavors to try, fries and a drink. Quickly after ordering we started having concerns/regret. They told us it would be a 25 min wait which we were fine with. 40 minutes later our order is up and boneless wings are room temp. We had a good bit of time to sit and watch as music is blasting in the waiting area, you can see pretty clearly back to the prep area. It’s astonishing watching half of the staff on their phones, eating food in the kitchen, bare hands handling their own personal food, their own personal drinks, their dirty cellphones and go right into prepping and handling food without washing hands and without gloves. I’m curious why half of the staff was standing around when the place was dirty, tables gross and floor disgusting. It’s not kept up with. The reviews on here are very accurate. I filled my drink with a soda and noticed it had a chemical like taste.
The flavors on the wings are as they would seem. No major differences from any other place. The fries are similar to 5 guys but more dry and they had almost a dry sugary rub on them. They were fine.
Pros: Love the ranch!! Wings are just OK

Summary: we will not go here again. not worth the $ or wait in my opinion. on top of the disgusting atmosphere and lack of cleanliness in the kitchen.

Read moreWent to lunch with a buddy 5/28. Music was so loud in the store I could not hear what the young man (Omar) at the counter was asking. I asked if he could have the music turned down and he said the manager liked it at that level. It was impossible to have a conversation in the lobby while waiting for the food due to the volume of the music. That made for a very long wait. There were two four-person tables and one two-person table for eat in, several chairs for take out but the lobby was mainly empty and it seemed they could have had more tables. There was no outside seating so a few patrons were using the tables for the restaurant next door, although there was a sign asking them not to. By the time we left (12:20) all of the take out chairs were occupied, so I guess people sat in their cars waiting for the text their food was ready. Omar told us (warned us?) there was an 18 minute wait for the wings. This was at 11:40, before the lunch rush. Kitchen crew seemed to running around making things, so I am not sure exactly why it would take that long. Since Omar said this, I started the timer on my phone. Food came out in 22 minutes. Now for the food. I had the 3 piece tenders and fries, my buddy had six wings and fries. Chicken was hot and very tasty, sauce was tangy and thick and definitely cleaned out the sinuses. The fries were a good size portion but were kind of greasy and limp. Neither of us ate more than half of our fries, due to the size of the portion and the greasiness. We waited an hour after we had ordered and our order was never ready. We ordered online and still waited inside for 25 min. For that 25 minutes NO order went out to any of those people that were there on average 30 min (I asked)There were 5 people in the back and 2 at the counter. The lady at the counter was drinking a monster and scratching her scalp and playing with her hair. Out of the 5 people there was 1 person making food and within that 25 min I watched that person, with long hair(Afro) not tied back or in a net, maybe in your food, attempted to complete 1 order.
When we got there they said your order is next and being prepared. We started complaining after the wait and the cashier, once again, said your order is next in line after we asked for refund. She said I know what I told you, but we have other orders coming in online. After we started asking for manager the lady/friend getting served fries and sauce decided to start giving her input. I am guessing the workers know her and that’s why she started standing up.
I get if you are only open for 2 weeks you might not have a rhythm yet, but I assume you know if your lobby is packed to GET FOOD OUT. The goal is to get in touch with the owner who franchised the place and make sure he is aware.
