The customer service I received today was the rudest I have ever experienced. I went through the drive-thru at about noon at your Madison Avenue location. It has been my go-to place at least three times a week for years, until now. Upon arriving in the Drive-Thru I was told to go ahead and order and I said okay thank you please hold on a minute. (Employees name is Amanda) Keep in mind there was nobody in front of me or behind me and very few in the dining area, so they were not busy at that time. When Amanda heard me say to please wait she scoffed. I thought this was slightly rude but didn't say anything and then pulled up to the window. I was getting my money out when she opened up and gave me, my total of about $10. I hadn't got into my purse yet so she slammed the window and walked away. Unfortunately the smallest bill I had at the time was $100, which I understand is an inconvenience, and I apologized about this. Amanda again scoffed, rolled her eyes and literally slammed the window and walked away. At this point, I knocked on the window she came back and I said I would like my money back please. She told me no he's getting it from the safe now. I told her no please I would like my money back as I was very dissatisfied with her attitudeband overall service. She came back with the money and I asked to speak with the manager and for her name. She was standing over the manager's shoulder the entire time smiling and laughing at me when I was talking to the manager. He didnt say anything to her about it and didnt even look at her. unfortunately I did not get his name but I was there at about noon on Tuesday afternoon. I I told him what had happened and she still was laughing and smiling. He then told me to pull around and he would come out and talk to me. I feel at this point he should have addressed the employee immediately. He quote said "I'm really sorry about that Amanda has been with me for a long time and I have never had an issue like this before." In my opinion this makes it much worse. He then told me sorry but we don't take big bills. I was kind of confused because the money at this point was completely beside the point it was about the employees attitude towards not just a customer but a person. I told him about the ordering experience her being patient and rude because I didn't have my money immediately ready and for the laughing and smiling while I was telling him my concerns. He was polite to me and apologetic however I am still very bothered by this experience and I just wanted to make sure that it was addressed properly. I will not be going back to this location and probably not the other which is unfortunate but I...
Read moreEdit: removing 2 stars b/c this place has gone down hill in the last 6 months. Not sure if just bad management or they don't pay enough to get decent workers but the wait times have ballooned to the point that I don't consider this fast food any longer.
Used to come here 2x a week to grab dinner before heading to meetings but after the times started taking so long I couldn't reliably guarantee that I'd make it to my meeting if I had to wait for food here. Been here probably 10 times in the last 6 months and don't think I"ve waited in line less than 15 minutes. I still love the food, but do not come here if you are in any kind of rush.
Late night staff isn't fantastic or terribly nice. But other than that place is clean, food is consistent and...
