This place has gotten much better over the last few months since my last review! The manager did call and resolve the previous issue of the bad coffee and rude employee. The wait times are not near as long for online orders, and my coffee has not tasted burnt! Whoever has been making drinks lately seems to know what they are doing 🙂
Original review Another bad experience... This location needs customer service training or something. Today I went in to use my half off coupon. After waiting several minutes in a nearly empty store to order, I told the barista I was using my coupon. She said okay, as if she understood, then immediately failed to ring it in. I had to go back and ask for it to be fixed and she was visibly annoyed. The manager was nearby and asked what was going on so I explained. The manager then apologized and told her to provide me with a $5 card for the inconvenience. The girl ignored her and did not give me the $5 on purpose. Instead she took her time to refund me, but not before she failed to tell me this and simply asked me to rescan my card to be charged the correct amount. When I told her the money was still gone she rudely replied "well I'm trying to put it back". I then asked if they could see my order she already rang in while she fixed the issue and she simply advised she did not know and continued to mess with the computer instead of asking them to make my drink, which caused a longer wait. My drink wasnt even full! I ordered a grande which is 16oz and yet was able to pour it into a 12oz cup with inches of space left! This lady was extremely off putting and unpolite and this experience sucked! This location gets worse every time I go it seems and whoever is placing these workers with their duties needs to consider who they put to interact...
Read moreMy recent visit to Starbucks left me frustrated on two fronts: product quality and customer service. I ordered a drink with "no ice," expecting the standard practice of filling the remaining space with more beverage. Instead, I received a cup that was noticeably underfilled—effectively paying full price for less product. When I politely asked the barista why the drink wasn’t topped up, their only response was a dismissive, robotic repetition of "no ice," refusing to engage further or address the concern.
This isn’t just about a half-empty cup; it’s about transparency and value. Starbucks charges premium prices, yet shortcuts like this—especially when profits hit $3.7 billion, feel like a disregard for customer fairness. If removing ice reduces volume, adjust the price or clarify the policy. Don’t quietly shortchange patrons.
The combination of subpar service and corporate greed leaves a bitter taste. I expect better from a global brand that prides itself on “connection.” Until Starbucks prioritizes consistency and trains staff to handle questions respectfully (instead of deflecting), I’ll take my coffee cravings elsewhere.
Advice to Starbucks- Profits shouldn’t come at the cost of integrity or customer dignity. Fix the ice policy, empower your staff to communicate kindly, and deliver...
Read moreI want to start off by saying that I've been going to this specific Starbucks location for quite a long time now with only a few small issues here and there. This location is always packed full of people and is quite busy and loud. The staff have always been nothing but kind and helpful and the inside of the store is very clean and organized. The atmosphere of this store is very trendy and pleasant. Back in high school it was my go-to study place in town. The very last time I went here (about a week ago) I ordered an iced caramel machiatto, my usual Starbucks drink. I was in a bit of a hurry so as soon as they gave me the drink, I sped out of the store. Sadly, I did not check the drink since I didn't think I would have to and when I got home to drink it, I realized that I had gotten a venti cup of milk, ice, and caramel. The barista had actually forgotten to put coffee, in my coffee. I was too busy to go all the way back to the store for a new drink so I just threw it in the trash. Since I am a college student, I'm not exactly ruling in cash and venti coffee drinks from here aren't very cheap so I felt like I had been ripped off. Although I used to be a fan of the location, I will not be...
