Starbucks — Restaurant in Maple Grove

-Quick version; great location to work/study from, clean establishment and kind employees.

Real Breakdown below

So here we go;

Physical Location: 3/5: the location itself is already cramped with other businesses, so parking is kind of hit or miss. Plus its main road is slightly inconvenient for leaving but great for getting there. Its not in a very "Pretty" visual location either.

In store: 5/5: the inside is a smaller Starbucks but the space is utilized in a good way, with good seating option for individuals or very small groups.

Cleanliness: 5/5 : I have yet to have a cleanliness issue here. Maybe other patrons are just trying to keep it clean as it is new, but it doesn't feel sticky.

Bathrooms: 4/5: Every time I have used the bathroom it has been clean. And the workers are proactive if you mention something about it. What I really like is the sinks they have, it is soap, wash and dry all in one station. They are also very large spaces for people with mobility needs. Though it is a bit high for children and maybe people of leg problems.

Music and Noise: 5/5: As all Starbucks the sounds are loud, from the machines, but hey that is expected and if you complain about those....go somewhere else. The Music itself is not too loud, it is the right balance competing with the machines and vocal noise of patrons. Also the music when i went the last couple of times (for times over 4 hours) was a good mixture of Disney, modern and classics.

Staff: 4/5: They speak up and are clear in articulation. They have friendly faces and seem pretty kind. One thing is they do get distracted by others around them, even in middle of ordering and sometimes take more than a minute of you standing there to receive assistance. Once I was standing there for over a minute while they made eye contact with me and then they radioed for someone from the back to help. (which is hard to criticize since I don't know their organizations expectations of each role.)

Drink Accuracy: 5/5: I asked for what I wanted, and they were kind enough to confirm the order with me.

Time: 4/5: I will admit I am really lenient with this one. This represents the time I ordered from when I get my drink. When it has been busy I got my drink in a timely manner comparative to occupancy. On occasion when slower it is slower to get drink, but there are less staff available.

Things I have not tried in this location include; Drive Thru Mobile app and its accuracy Outdoor Seating

Pros not related to Starbucks; In the business area of Maple Grove, so a lot of great walking paths, restaurants and other activities to do. Great location for meet ups with friends and though large area can walk technically anywhere.

Horrible. Even though the drive thu is not busy it is always Incredibly slow I waited in drive thru for almost 15-20 min with one car infront of me when I pulled up they still didn’t have my drink our fir 10 minutes with nobody inside. They let me order a drink and did not inform me they were out of things. They did not label on drink that it had almond milk as someone who has lactose intolerance it’s very important to make sure it’s confirmed. One woman is extremely rude. Does not greet you when you ask her a question she just says….”what” and doesn’t even talk to you or tell you the total or anything she seems like she hates her job. This place already has so many problems. It needs to be more efficient...

The bald man with the black apron was so insanely rude. I have a SEVERE dairy allergy due to Hashimoto’s disease, and my soy chai looked extremely light and did not taste correct. Being concerned about dairy consumption, I went back in and asked it to be remade and he said “it is made with soy. The box is still out.” And I said okay, well can you add another pump of chai or something? I’m sorry it just doesn’t taste right.” He literally yanked the drink away from me, making this snarky face at me, put half a squirt in and shoved the drink back at me.
