¡Absolute gem of a place!
We've visited at least a half-dozen times over the last few weeks since finding out about it, and I've been good about trying multiple new options each time from the delightful variety on the menu. I've honestly enjoyed everything I've tried, and so have my wife and friends; it's truly all top-notch and stands above other Mexican restaurants. Quesabirria, tamales, sopa, multiple taco options (carne asada, tinga, birria, fish, fried chicken), steak sabroso, tres compadres, tostadas, tostaguac, panucho, huarache, steak a la mexicana... Seriously, it's all delicious and incredibly well-crafted recipes with ingredients that you can taste the elevated quality of!
The chips and salsa are not free but you get incredible verde and roja salsas that are worth every cent paid for, so this is a statement for the curious rather than a complaint.
Plus the margaritas and staff are wonderful as well!
We absolutely love going to Sabroso and hope they have all the success so we can continue visiting for many years! If you're looking for a place to go, share love with your taste buds and this fine establishment by stopping in. I can't imagine you being disappointed!

We had the chicken tinga enchiladas and burrito with a side of street corn. The corn is fabulous! The chicken - whoa. This isn’t bland boiled & shredded chicken like every other Mexican restaurant has. Nope. It’s full of flavor! The enchiladas are on soft corn tortillas covered with the perfect amount of tomatillo sauce and queso. The burrito is the size of a newborn 😆 The house margarita is really tasty! It has a splash of orange juice.
So many good dishes to pick from. Can’t wait to come back to try the chile rellenos, tacos al pastor, and the quesabirria! Great...

We tried to get an order of queso and a separate order of chips & salsa. The server recommended we order the Tres Compadres instead for a better value. Our order of chips came with queso, salsa, and guacamole for $11.99. All 3 were excellent dippers.
We stuck to the "Street Food" menu for lunch and ordered the esquites (street corn),quesabirria (3 included in the order with a side of consomme), and the shrimp tostada. Everything was delicious!
They have their liquor license! We both ordered the spicy pineapple margarita. They also have a variety of margaritas, including a frozen option, a good selection of beers and a HIGE list...
