I have never debated writing a review before. I sorta want to keep this place a secret. So let me say this might be one of the, if not THE top place in Marathon. Everything is hand made and OMG! Amazing. The place is small and you will miss it if your not looking for it. It looks older on the outside but inside it's clean and very nice inside. Were to start? The tomato soup! I hate tomato soup and this stuff is FANTASTIC! It's creamy, the tomato's are diced by hand and you can honestly to steal a phrase "You can taste the love". Their salads! I know who ever reviews a salad? It's a bunch of weeds. The salad dressing is handmade and OMG they have these little sweet peppers in the salad that just pop with flavor. It takes the salad to a different level. No kidding ask for extra little peppers when you order! The Pork Potstickers, the sauce that goes into those is just.... Heaven. It's got a nice sweet taste to it then layered with some heat (not much but some) then you get to the meat in the potstickers. Talk about Flavor! The steaks are cooked exactly to temp. It's good quality meat. There has not been one thing on the menu that hasn't been HUGE on flavor. The service is top notch, ask for Jordie (Great guy always smiling). Also ask.. for make sure you write this down, "Magalis Consepcion de la carid y Virtudes". It's a bit of a joke between the wait staff. But they are so friendly and so nice that your even in on their inside jokes. Also it will make her (the waitress) laugh :P So yeah I am not sure what more you need to know? Oh prices, well for the Keys it's a little higher then then most of your bars. But right in line for your upper end establishments here in the Keys. Worth...

Great Experience…Even Better Staff & Food…Must Try!! As a Florida Keys local I’ve frequented nearly every restaurant in town, for some reason I had not experienced Baracuda Grill, boy was I missing out! I decided to take my girlfriend out for a date night in Marathon, we had the wish to try something new, so we stopped in at the Barracuda Grill, and we were pleasantly surprised. The casual elegance was perfect for a quite dinner for two or family style. We were promptly greeted by the hostess and seated inside at a table for two. The dining room had what my girlfriend referred to as “Keys Fine Dining Feel” where you can come as you are and feel right at home, but expect more than most local dining experiences. Our waitress Rachel came over quickly to take our drink order (great wine recommendation!!) and explain the daily specials. We decided to start with the Red Hot Calamari & Shrimp. Rachel was kind enough to subdue the “red hot” for my girlfriend and provide a smaller hot version for me, which was perfect! For entrées my girlfriend had the Rack of Lamb (extremely flavorful) and I had the Grouper Special (quite honestly the best piece of fish I’ve ever had, FRESH...FRESH…FRESH). Sides were just as good as the main dish too! We capped the night with a couple more glasses of wine and the Cream Brule. Needless to say, we will be...

Been here a couple of times now and I’ll start with the good.

The Shrimp Scampi is probably the best I’ve ever had. Full of flavor, brimming with plenty of garlic and a touch of tomato sauce that creates a nicely balanced scampi. They load it with shrimp and serve it on perfectly prepared Al Dente linguine.

The Jumbo Scallops and Pesto Pasta is also very good with a rich nuttiness that is full of garlic and textures that make it stand out amongst Pesto’s I’ve tasted. The dish comes with 4 monster scallops that are pan seared to perfection.

The kids cheeseburger is quite large and absolutely delicious, prepared medium and very well portioned with homemade fries that look like chubby corkscrews.

Now for the bad - the 14oz Ribeye was not very good. For $37 I expected the steak to be of better quality. The meat was not tender. It tasted like it had been frozen and possibly a little freezer burned.

So this is definitely a place that is worth checking out, but I would stick to the seafood dishes which they have a few options to select from and their menu seems to change periodically which is great for variety.

The service is good, complete with white linens and candlelight that gives it a nice ambiance. They don’t take reservations so Olán accordingly as they can get busy on...

This is not even close to a Fine Dining restaurant!!! they serve the salad dressing in a plastic Butter cup and the water was poured in plastic cups like a strip mall. Next is the staff, their uniforms are nonexistent and they all hang out at the front near the register. (I have never seen this at a restaurant before) There is a hallway that goes to the bathroom where you can see security cameras and random office equipment (does not look good) The Female servers were wearing spandex (one was wearing pink) like they were working out after their shift. Also it feels like there are no managers working the location, It feels like the employees are running the business on their own. (Very weird vibe) Lastly the pricing is ridiculous based on the presentation, for a $35 fish entrée. Please take down the “fine dining” Category, people are coming to restaurants like this because of that reason. Lastly where the hell is the owner, something isn’t right with this place. And lastly if the owner replies with acknowledgment of these issues (and will make the changes) I will gladly take down this post.

My sweetie and I came in for dinner, and were very happy with our experience. The steak and seafood entrees were very tempting, but we opted to get a handful of appetizers to share. The yellow curry Brussel sprouts were great. We also enjoyed the cranny tomato soup, warm brie, and spicy calamari and shrimp. The wine and beer list had plenty to choose from. We were also given a basket of warm bread and butter. The atmosphere was very clean and comfortable, and the walls displayed a good collection of barracuda themed artwork. There is a covered outdoor dining area too. We'll be back!
