I have to say, I've order pizza from several different franchises in my life and, for the most part, have had fairly good experiences. But no experience has top the one I encountered when I ordered from this Domino's location. I placed the call to this store and was greeted by an employee by the name of Emily. Her tone was very inviting and made me feel as if I was a valued customer even before placing my pick-up order. I wasn't too sure what I was in the mood to eat, but Emily, in great detail, went over every promotion that was fitting for the amount of people I was trying to fed. She even went out of her way to let me know about the desert option they had available, as well. I placed my order and headed over to the store to pick it up. As I approached the store, an employee was there and open the door for me, greeting me with a very welcoming," Hello, welcome to Domino's." The lobby area was very inviting and, to my surprise, very clean. That shows they pay attention to detail and actually care about the appearance of their store. I got to the counter and Emily, the young lady who took my order over the phone, was there and asked if I was there to pick up or place an order. When I gave her my name, she remember who I was, seeing that I placed the order 30 minutes prior and had my food ready to go. I took a glance at the workers behind her and the few people there were locked into whatever task they were doing. Very professional atmosphere. I paid and was sent off with a "Thank you for choosing Domino's. Have a great rest of your evening, sir." If anyone in the Margate area is in the mood for some pizza and want great customer service to go along with it, you can't go wrong with this store. Read moreWhat happened to this place? After years of ordering from Dominos, and this being my home location, tonight is the LAST STRAW. I had just mentioned to my husband how Dominos had been going down hill moments before my 1 pie FINALLY arrived.... I now know to open the box and check the pizza and WOW. My well done pie looked like a wet greasy mess that was thrown into a box, pieces of the crust were missing, yes missing, a quarter of the pie was smashed into the middle. Who wants to put something that looks like that into their mouth? Disgusting! But the kicker is when my husband called the location about us sending the pie back. The "gentleman" identified himself as the manager and store owner, Phil, repeatedly told my husband that he wouldn't give us our money back....at which point I got on the phone and told him he was getting his pie back and I was demanding a refund. He responded with advising me that he "was not a grocery store, they don't give returns for food"....but that he would make us ANOTHER [CRAPPY] pizza. No dude....a REAL restaurant establishment worthy of repeat customer's hard earned money, INCLUDING a grocery store, would not refuse to give a customer a refund! Not surprisingly however, generally speaking, you cannot return damaged or clearance items, WHICH IS EXACTLY what I have gotten from this location recently - crap food, crap service, and extended waits for this clearance dining experience. Read moreI ordered two boxes of pizza at 8:20, and according to Uber, the order was supposed to arrive between 8:40 and 9:00 at the latest. I went outside to wait for the driver—it’s important to mention that this store uses its own drivers. I started waiting before 8:40. By 9:20, the order still hadn’t arrived. We called, and they said the driver was 6 minutes away, so I kept waiting, but they never showed up.
At 9:30, the order was marked as delivered on Uber, even though it wasn’t. I was still outside waiting. We called again, and they said the gate had a code, that the driver called me, and I didn’t answer—but in reality, I was standing outside the gate the entire time, and he never showed up or called me.
I tried to contact Uber Eats, but it was difficult since this location uses its own delivery drivers. That’s why I’m leaving this review—because of the terrible service and lack of communication. We had to call multiple times to get a solution, since there was no reason I should lose $38 after waiting outside and never receiving the order. They never reached out—we had to do all the calling ourselves. After insisting so much, they finally completed the delivery around 10:00, saying they would resend...
