Buona Sera Ristorante - SPRINGFIELD — Restaurant in Marple Township

found this place to b above average. wud suggest a few things. th broccoli rabe was mostly stems instead of th leaf. they need to correct this, mentiond this to our server, alex (who was very professional and personable). th ravioli was good including th sauce, but not served w a salad. th rav was a bit overpriced ($36), but we r not opposed to highr $$ for good service, cleam atmosphere, clean restrooms, etc. (we often judge attentiveness to a clean kitchen to th cleanliness of th bathrms. havng workd in many, many restaurant kitchens, i can attest to not wanting to eat in many, many of them.) an ecuadorian owner and staff, with an all italian menu, kinda humorous. they do offer good quality espresso and capo, which is difficult to find in delco eateries. so far none of us r ill :-) , havng read othr reviews :-). we will most likely patronize here. oh, and a reminder- always, ALWAYS tip in cash. dont let th govmnt leach their hands into ur servers...

My wife became quite ill after finishing her entree. It turned out to be food poisoning which went through her all night before settling down the next day. We believe it was the bucatini because that is the only dish served to our group that only she had. I assume something was off with the pancetta in the sauce.

She called the restaurant to let them know and they said it couldn't have been their food because no one else had complained! So much for the customer being right.

Our other dishes tasted fine; portion sizes were small to average. The service was spotty (the restaurant was only open about a week.) The servers were pleasant but very disorganized. Due to the rude response to my wife, we won't be going back since they don't seem to care about...

Out to dinner with my hubby and the family tonight; 11 ppl in our party ( we did have reservations). Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service was excellent! There was another large party in the room with us and they were all very happy with their meal too. If you have a great experience too, don’t forget to leave a positive review.
