It’s one of those over priced places that hopes you’ve never had real Italian food. If you have a remotely genuine worldly palate you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. We had four adults and a young child. The bread was decent, a good portion but served with room temperature plastic wrapped butter. The mussels were very good, not too salty, reasonably priced and a good amount. That was the pinnacle of the meal unfortunately. The shrimp cocktail had four huge shrimp but was served in a clumsy, awkward martini dish with store cocktail sauce: mildly disappointing for that premium. I got to try my girlfriend’s lobster ravioli. It was ok but nothing unique or memorable. The real travesty was the $42 14oz sirloin steak. I asked for medium rare and got medium well. The amount of gristle on it was appalling, more fitting for bushwhacking cattle in west Texas. The sauce was truly the smack in the face: store bought packet powdered gravy mixed with a handful of raw corn starch smothered in full length raw onions. The side pasta was two mouthfuls of the blandest, pink nothing sauce. No attempt to make it special or complimentary. There’s no way around it: bland and gross, especially for that price. It’s close by and had great reviews. I just wonder why.

UPDATE: October 2024! EVERYTHING is delicious. The service is old school with excellent wait staff - very knowledgeable and professional. The food is prepared with care and I just can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The menu is chef's kiss with so many options. The bread is great. Wine selection is perfection. Bartender knows their drinks. So, so good! -------- 5 years ago! Love the old world style of this restaurant. They have a very attentive staff. They even come around with the parmesan cheese which is a rare thing these days. they also have wine by the carafe which is a nice thing when you want more than a glass but less than a bottle. I was there with six people and everybody really enjoyed their entrees. The steaks are cooked perfectly.I had the linguine and clams and sauce was so delicious and it was a huge portion I ended up having lunch the next day. The clientele definitely skew towards the older crowd, but it's a great spot for a family celebration. Their deserts are equally delicious

Just moved to area from the city. Drive by here a lot it’s always packed so we decided to come here for date night. Ambience was night. There was a singer singing music was kind of loud. We got a booth in dining room. We ordered app-calamari which was basic frozen calamari. A Cesar salad which was blah chicken was not fresh. I order the prime rib which was suppose to be great according to the server. It was blah super fatty and it came with INSTANT MASH POTATOES for $28. My boyfriend got a blacken snapper which was a piece of over cooked fish with tons of Lawry’s and maybe some Cajun season on it that was also $28. Definitely not worth it. Maybe I guess people come here for the drinks. Don’t go

My recent experience at Anthony’s Ristorante and Ballroom was absolutely delightful, combining exquisite dining with a breathtaking venue that’s perfect for any special occasion.

Ambiance & Venue: From the moment I walked through the doors, I was struck by the elegance and charm of the place. The decor is sophisticated yet inviting, with beautiful chandeliers, tasteful artwork, and a warm color palette that creates an atmosphere of refined comfort. The ballroom is stunning, with high ceilings, ample space, and an overall grandeur that makes it the perfect setting for weddings, parties, or any large event.

Dining Experience: The food at Anthony’s is simply outstanding. The menu offers a wide range of Italian dishes, each prepared with the freshest ingredients and cooked to perfection. I started with the bruschetta, which was a perfect blend of fresh tomatoes, basil, and a hint of garlic on crispy bread. For the main course, I had the Chicken Parmigiana, and it was everything you’d hope for—tender, juicy chicken with a crispy coating, topped with rich marinara sauce and just the right amount of melted mozzarella.

The pasta dishes are also to die for; I tried the Fettuccine Alfredo, and it was creamy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The portion sizes are generous, and you can tell that each dish is made with care and attention to detail.

Service: The service at Anthony’s is top-notch. The staff is professional, courteous, and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of the meal and event is seamless. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations and making sure our glasses were always full. The pacing of the meal was just right, allowing us to enjoy each course without feeling rushed.

Event Hosting: If you’re considering hosting an event at Anthony’s Ballroom, you won’t be disappointed. The event coordinators are incredibly organized and accommodating, making the planning process stress-free and enjoyable. The ballroom can be customized to suit any theme or style, and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect.

Overall Experience: Anthony’s Ristorante and Ballroom offers a combination of exceptional food, a beautiful venue, and impeccable service that is hard to beat. Whether you’re coming for a casual dinner or planning a special event, this place delivers on all fronts. The ambiance is both elegant and welcoming, the food is authentic and delicious, and the service is consistently excellent.

I highly recommend Anthony’s for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience or a stunning venue for their next event. I will definitely be returning for future meals...

Made reservations for the Easter Buffet at Anthony's. When I initially called, I was told that I called during dinner rush and I would need to call back some other time to make reservation and then was hung up on. That should have been my warning! Called back, made reservation for 4pm on Easter. Arrived at 3:50pm and was told table would be ready in a couple of minutes (they were clearing one). At 4:00pm we were told 2 minutes; at 4:10pm we were told 2 minutes; at 4:20pm we were told 2 minutes. Around 4:30pm we were finally seated. There was a waitress running around but never came over to our table. She finally came over, looked at table number and walked away. We were able to get her and put a drink order in...2 waters and 2 diet cokes. Roughly 1/2 hour later, the water came and in another 15 minutes the soda. During this time we helped ourselves to the buffet, which was delicious. There were four of us in our party and we were placed at table for two so elbow and dining room were limited. There was no one busing tables so eventually we, along with others around us, starting placing our dirty dishes on an empty table next to us. It began to look like something from Dr. Suess. The waitress would keep walking by and saying sorry, im sorry, and this is f'ing crazy. We were able to get coffee by hunting down someone walking around. Finally wanted our check to leave and that was also a nightmare. We kept getting some run around story about the check. Oh and then we were told that there was a 20% gratuity automatically added to the bill - ARE YOU KIDDING ME! FOR WHAT?! If anything, they should have paid us back! The whole experience was disappointing. I am shocked at the lack of service and professionalism...

My name is Debbie Kephart and I was there with my family on Thursday for a funeral luncheon. My sister asked for a tab bar, which she got BUT we had to go into another room to get our own drinks! Our family has been in the restaurant/bar business for over fifty years and would NEVER think to ask our customers to serve themselves, especially during a funeral luncheon! There were only thirteen of us so this should not have been too hard a task for our server. We were only allowed to choose from two entrees which, I thought, were way over priced. The portions were not uniform. My plate could have fed an army and my brother's would have left him starving, so I switched with him. Both entrees, Chicken Marsala and Salmon, had a good flavor but the food was just warm and the rolls were actually cold and almost tasted stale. The poor string beans looked like they had been recooked several times as they were weaseled. All we were offered was plain old vanilla icecream that was already melting in, what looked like, a soup cup without a saucer or doily. When some people asked for chocolate sauce the server brought out an old looking plastic squirt bottle and put the sauce on it himself sparingly. They could have made chocolate milk by that time. We were all grieving for my sister's husband yet they put us in a room next to another party that was extremely loud and partying. We would have been better off if we had just made a regular reservation and ordered off their main menu. Most of us live an hour or more away so we would not have a reason to come to Anthony's again. The place is beautiful so I hope the criticism they might receive from people can only help them offer their customers so much more when it comes...
