The vibe in this place is AMAZING! Cozy but open and not crammed feeling; a full bar on a lower section, tabled seating available near the host station, and more tabled seating with several booths available in another section. Very well laid out and welcoming! Gives warm cafe vibes that can easily transition to clean eclectic bar in the evening.

The menu has seen some significant price increases since other photos were added to google reviews so I am attaching the updated menu.

I was greeted immediately when I arrived by a smiling gentleman and was seated right away. Within a few minutes a friendly server came by bringing water and took my order (I came knowing what I would order).

Ordered the one egg with buiscuits and gravy with the Cajun seasoning on the home fries. It came out very quickly. The home fries were perfect. The gravy was unique in flavor, but disappointingly thin and there wasn’t much there. I ate the top layer of the biscuits with the gravy and then it was gone. The biscuits weren’t my favorite BUT I can see how people love them. They are drop biscuits that are fluffy and reminded me a lot of the biscuits served around Red Lobster. My egg was an egg. :)

I would have liked to order more gravy for my meal, but unfortunately after my food was delivered my service stopped. I was served water in a tiny cup that was never refilled and was nearly empty when my food arrived. 20 minutes after I stopped eating because I was out of water, I finally got up and poured my own water from the pitcher at the host station. The server had walked by several times, bussed empty tables, asked her other tables multiple times if they needed anything, but I was not able to get her attention. By the time she DID come to my table I asked for a check and was a little over my visit—no point in continuing to eat cold food. Could have EASILY been a 5 star review if the service was improved. In fairness, it looks like she and one other person were the only servers for the whole place, but that’s certainly a staffing problem—not necessarily hers. It’s Saturday, please schedule more servers to accommodate your customer flow. There were numerous empty tables...

If I could give 1,000 stars out of 5, I would. This place is PHENOMENAL. Their food is some of the best food I've ever had, in my life, period. I really love that they have so many different dietary options. My boyfriend and I eat vegan as much as we can, but it can be really hard when we go out somewhere because there just aren't that many vegan restaurants/options. So I really appreciate that Bodega has options for everyone. We came for dinner one night of our vacation and had to wait just a few minutes to get seated, no problem. Our waitress was amazing and everything that we ate was so so so incredibly delicious. My boyfriend had the pesto whitefish and he loved every bite of it. I had the bodega mac, which had fried brussels sprouts on top - IT WAS SO GOOD. My boyfriend also had both the espresso martini and the tiramisu martini, which were both amazing. For dessert, he had the creme brulee--delicious--and I had one of their chocolate chip cookies. I could eat an entire case of those cookies. Seriously. I'm gonna get a case of them every month to eat during my period. We also went the next morning for brunch! Everything was quite possibly even better. Colin was our server, and he was awesome!! He had such chill vibes and was so fun. My boyfriend had the Finnish pancakes with a blueberry compote on top, which was delicious. I had both the French toast and the chocolate chip pancakes. While I may have slightly underestimated how large the pancakes would be, it was completely worth it. I have French toast every time I go somewhere for breakfast/brunch, and Bodega's French toast definitely made it to the top of my list. Hands down the best I've had. The pancakes were also amazing, so perfectly cooked without being dry, a nice slightly crispy crust on the outside, just perfection all around. I'm drooling just writing the description and thinking about them again. They also have some pretty cool merch for sale! All around I cannot recommend this place enough. If you're in the area, you will not regret coming here. Bodega, can you open a second location in...

My girlfriend and I came here for our first date and have came back regularly for our anniversaries. The food is great and we always get the same thing, 2 weekender burgers, 1 vegetarian w the egg, 1 how it comes but w an over easy egg on the side instead of the normal chips. This order has constantly been messed up and we are blamed for it each time. Notable ones are listed below. Vegetarian didn't have the egg Second egg was missing, charged for extra egg and was argued w by waiter when I explained what happened Second egg was placed on the burger instead of the side and charged extra And the most recent one that caused this review and the loss of our business, Vegetarian had bacon on it and we were told to just take the bacon off. When I asked for it to be remade they said they would, yet exactly 10mins later we received what we strongly believe to be the same burger reheated. We believe this primarily due to the bits found still on the burger that strongly resembled bacon. We were assured that this was in fact a new burger but due to their initial response and our previous interactions we couldn't trust their word. We decided instead of getting into another argument that would just put a damper on our anniversary, to just go get food elsewhere in the future. So, if you're vegetarian this place has great food but you need to be incredibly clear about what you want, because if what arrives to your table isn't what you wanted, it's...
