The vibe in this place is AMAZING! Cozy but open and not crammed feeling; a full bar on a lower section, tabled seating available near the host station, and more tabled seating with several booths available in another section. Very well laid out and welcoming! Gives warm cafe vibes that can easily transition to clean eclectic bar in the evening. The menu has seen some significant price increases since other photos were added to google reviews so I am attaching the updated menu. I was greeted immediately when I arrived by a smiling gentleman and was seated right away. Within a few minutes a friendly server came by bringing water and took my order (I came knowing what I would order). Ordered the one egg with buiscuits and gravy with the Cajun seasoning on the home fries. It came out very quickly. The home fries were perfect. The gravy was unique in flavor, but disappointingly thin and there wasn’t much there. I ate the top layer of the biscuits with the gravy and then it was gone. The biscuits weren’t my favorite BUT I can see how people love them. They are drop biscuits that are fluffy and reminded me a lot of the biscuits served around Red Lobster. My egg was an egg. :) I would have liked to order more gravy for my meal, but unfortunately after my food was delivered my service stopped. I was served water in a tiny cup that was never refilled and was nearly empty when my food arrived. 20 minutes after I stopped eating because I was out of water, I finally got up and poured my own water from the pitcher at the host station. The server had walked by several times, bussed empty tables, asked her other tables multiple times if they needed anything, but I was not able to get her attention. By the time she DID come to my table I asked for a check and was a little over my visit—no point in continuing to eat cold food. Could have EASILY been a 5 star review if the service was improved. In fairness, it looks like she and one other person were the only servers for the whole place, but that’s certainly a staffing problem—not necessarily hers. It’s Saturday, please schedule more servers to accommodate your customer flow. There were numerous empty tables in the place.

If I could give 1,000 stars out of 5, I would. This place is PHENOMENAL. Their food is some of the best food I've ever had, in my life, period. I really love that they have so many different dietary options. My boyfriend and I eat vegan as much as we can, but it can be really hard when we go out somewhere because there just aren't that many vegan restaurants/options. So I really appreciate that Bodega has options for everyone. We came for dinner one night of our vacation and had to wait just a few minutes to get seated, no problem. Our waitress was amazing and everything that we ate was so so so incredibly delicious. My boyfriend had the pesto whitefish and he loved every bite of it. I had the bodega mac, which had fried brussels sprouts on top - IT WAS SO GOOD. My boyfriend also had both the espresso martini and the tiramisu martini, which were both amazing. For dessert, he had the creme brulee--delicious--and I had one of their chocolate chip cookies. I could eat an entire case of those cookies. Seriously. I'm gonna get a case of them every month to eat during my period. We also went the next morning for brunch! Everything was quite possibly even better. Colin was our server, and he was awesome!! He had such chill vibes and was so fun. My boyfriend had the Finnish pancakes with a blueberry compote on top, which was delicious. I had both the French toast and the chocolate chip pancakes. While I may have slightly underestimated how large the pancakes would be, it was completely worth it. I have French toast every time I go somewhere for breakfast/brunch, and Bodega's French toast definitely made it to the top of my list. Hands down the best I've had. The pancakes were also amazing, so perfectly cooked without being dry, a nice slightly crispy crust on the outside, just perfection all around. I'm drooling just writing the description and thinking about them again. They also have some pretty cool merch for sale! All around I cannot recommend this place enough. If you're in the area, you will not regret coming here. Bodega, can you open a second location in Green Bay???

We had really high hopes after being told good things about the breakfast service but was EXTREMELY disappointed today when we stopped for lunch. We came in and it took more than 20 minutes to even be given drinks and then another 20 mins before we were able to order, after placing our order we waited for another 90ish minutes before we even were greeted by another employee. We never saw our waiter again, he disappeared after we placed our order, Melissa (a saint) helped us instead. When food finally arrived my gluten free friends order was made with normal gluten bread and had to be brought back and fixed. When it finally came back the rest of the table was almost done with their meals and her gluten free bun was instead 2 pieces of GF white bread. The food was okay but definitely was not worth 2 hours for lunch. oh and the restaurant was completely empty and a table of 3.

Absolutely amazing! The food is so spectacular!! We absolutely loved being able to experience Bodega on our drive up to Houghton MI. The cocktails, mocktails, breakfast, lunch, and dinner options were so yummy, just absolutely 😋 wonderful and the food was worth the wait. Please order the cinnamon rolls to go with your coffee, you will love it. Additionally, the team was so amazing!!! They got us a high chair to use with our 14-months-old daughter and we got an extra free espresso in my coffee! They are so great with kids. Diaper changing table available in the women's restroom! Bonus points for the positive vibes and many many beautifully healthy live plants including a gorgeous pothos plant that went all across the ceiling and down our lamp at our table. Love this place, we will definitely be there again.

As a person who strives to make fresh, healthy, eco food choices, this place hits the jackpot! There are so many vegetarian options. Substitutions are available to make something with meat vegetarian. We enjoyed brunch, eating healthy, and locally sourced food. I had the veggie bfst Cosmic burrito with ranchero sauce and fruit. My partner loved the French toast, blueberries, and bacon. The Moscow mule was also amazing! The bartender was sweet and friendly but completely overwhelmed, making all the fancy drinks and being the solo bartender. Our food was delicious, and I would return. This is a definite recommendation in my book! Great job!
