Main Street Pizza - Marquette — Restaurant in Marquette

It was OK...

Now I don't know if the service ( lack of ) from the moment I walked in put a sour taste in my mouth and I'm not judging the pizza fairly or not, but I believe I'm correct, as it is three days later and I still feel ugly about my experience.

I walk in, and the U.P.S man is preparing to walk out, the person ( male ) who was talking to him sees me, but no acknowledgment of me entering, he turns away and walks to the oven ( nothing in it ) he then goes around the corner to the back, and the other male is on the phone taking an order ( it was over $120.00 ) He does not look up to acknowledge me, with the one finger of ( Give me a moment head nod. ) OR SOMETHING.. )

I stand there for three minutes ish, and the guy who went around the corner returns, He walks 3 feet from the counter and says " Slices " I reply " Yes "

He returns to the rear, with two slices on a paper plate, and tosses them on the counter near the other man on the phone with the 🍕 spinning.

I say "Two orders " he walks away, returns with the second order and tosses the pizza on the counter in the same fashion, but he does so as tho someone was standing two body length to my left, about that time the man on the phone was just hanging up and stated the price, ( No hello, ZERO Greeting ) He takes my payment and it's over.

I take my pizza enter my vehicle and leave. As I get to Third and Washington, I take a bit while still thinking about my experience.

I spit out the pizza wondering if something Negative / not nice, could have been done to my slices.

So I only have Two things to say about it.

I truly do not know what the pizza tastes like. I will NEVER return to Main...

I typically do not prefer this place over other pizza places in town but my wife does. She has a severe tomato allergy and has to get ranch dressing as a substitute for the normal tomato sauce. When we called today 9-14-18 at 725pm and requested the substitute sauce for the pizza the guy on the phone told us he would not fulfill our requests because it takes too much time and he does not want to, “nor does he have too” . I said you must not be the owner and he says no I am not.

I never leave reviews. As a matter of fact this is my first time. However, as a local business owner I would want to know if my employees were treating my customers this way. I do not have anything negative to say about this restaurants food but they may need to re-evaluate this...

I have been a loyal Mainstreet customer for years. I pick up slices from the Harvey location weekly for lunch and love the employees there. I ordered through door dash for the Marquette location and there was an issue on Mainstreet’s end and the order was canceled after 40 min. I called in and tried to kindly explain that if they direct customers online to order through door dash but prefer phone order to not sign up for door dash or indicate on the website. The business elects to be involved in door dash. The girl on the other end was extremely rude and told me that’s my issue because they don’t do door dash.....you clearly do....work on your customer service. Go to Harvey for Main St. it’s well worth the kind staff and you avoid their...
